Family Security Matters does not stand behind or endorse any candidate for president (or any other public office). However, as the President is also Commander-in-Chief and is responsible for setting national security policy, we will be publishing a variety of articles on both the Republican and Democrat candidates for President during this election year. Luke C. Sheahan graduated cum laude from the Honors College at Oregon State University, where he majored in political science. For three years he served as executive editor and publisher of The Liberty, a conservative commentary paper at Oregon State. He was a 2005-2006 recipient of the Ronald Reagan Future Leaders Scholarship and a student panelist at the Conservative Political Action Conference in February 2006. Luke currently works as the Associate Director of the Campus Freedom Network at the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education in Philadelphia, PA.
