Kim Jong Il
The leader of North Korea, formally known to his people as the “Dear Leader”. Under his leadership, North Korea remains isolated from the international community, ravaged by the poverty and underdevelopment associated with long-term communist policies, and antagonistic to international norms in many ways, including its insistence upon developing nuclear power.
