Ayman al Zawahiri
The second most powerful leader of Al Qaeda, after Osama Bin Laden. Al Zawahiri was the founder of Egyptian Islamic Jihad, a terrorist organization dedicated to achieving Islamist objectives through violent means if necessary, which he merged into Al Qaeda in 1998.
