A Presidential and Principled National Security Address to Congress

The highlight of the President's address to Congress last night was his tribute to fallen Navy SEAL Ryan Owens. He underscored thereby his appreciation for the sacrifice of all those who serve our country, and the contribution they make to protecting the rest of us in a dangerous world.
In the process, President Trump made the case for supporting those who, like Chief Petty Officer Owens, go into harm's way - and deserve all we can do to equip, train and otherwise ensure they are ready to defeat our enemies, foreign and domestic.
Importantly, the President also reaffirmed his administration's view that prominent among those foes are "radical Islamic terrorists." He thereby allayed concerns that he would succumb to pressure - from inside and outside his administration - to revert to the vapid, clueless and futile policies of his predecessors.
God bless him - and America.
