Before Donald Trump's inauguration, Senator Chuck Schumer declared, "You take on the intelligence community, they have six ways from Sunday to get back at you."

Presumably, he meant that as warning. It may, however, have been taken as an invitation.

Certainly, ever since, the media has been awash with reports of actions by unnamed "former and present intelligence officers" that sure look like they're getting back at Donald Trump.
