State Department Knew about Plans for Eurabia

by JANET LEVY May 8, 2012

The recent recovery of a 1974 State Department memo reveals that our government had prior knowledge of the plan to Islamicize Europe.

A highly symbolic conference was held in September of 1974 and attended by Muslim and Christian clergy in Cordoba, the historic center of the Caliphate in Al-Andalus or Moorish Iberia.  Al-Andalus was a medieval Muslim state encompassing Spain, Portugal, and parts of France.   When Arab Muslims conquered the region in 711, jihadists massacred, enslaved or deported Christians (and Jews), confiscated their land and pillaged churches or converted them to mosques.  Tens of thousands of Christians slaves and a harem of captured Christian women served the brutal Muslim conquerers.

Remarkably, during the 1974 conference, Muslims were allowed to pray in an ancient cathedral they had converted to a mosque at the time of their first invasion of Iberia.  It wasn't until 1492, when Christian Crusaders recaptured their land and expelled the Muslims, that the cathedral was restored to its original form and purpose

Today, Muslims talk fondly of reclaiming Al-Andalus.  Within the last several decades there has been a virtual invasion of Spain by Arab Muslims who refuse to assimilate.

At this point, Barcelona is 40% Muslim and 100 Saudi Wahhabi mosques dot the Spanish landscape.  In true dhimmi fashion, Spain actually celebrated the first Islamic invasion this past year.  (The Virginia Military Institute (funded by Arcapita and under the direction of the UAE (Remember Portgate?)) convened a celebration as well that commemorated the 1300th anniversary of the invasion and brutal 781 year occupation of Spain and helped promulgate the myth of a soi-dissant "Golden Age of Islam."  What VMI actually celebrated was a jihad against the Iberian Peninsula and the oppression of religious minorities).
