Obama's Birth Certificate - - Still Missing
Joan Swirsky, RightSideNews.com
Last week, during the crucial waning days of the presidential campaign, Obama left for Hawaii to visit his 85-year-old grandmother, Madelyn Dunham, who had broken her hip. In such bad shape was she - in spite of the hospital's sending her home to heal - that Obama told ABC's Robin Roberts, that "I'm still not sure whether she makes it to Election Day."
Filling in for Obama on the campaign trail in Ohio was his wife, Michelle, who told the crowd that granny was doing just fine.
Did Obama have a dual purpose in traveling to Hawaii, the other being to magically produce the birth certificate proving his eligibility to be president? While he's now back on the campaign trail, he has still failed to produce said certificate!
What else has Obama failed to provide to a public - and an electorate - that deserves to know everything possible about a presidential candidate?

A socialist America?
Jeffrey T. Kuhner, Washington Times.com
The mainstream media have downplayed the profound significance that an Obama presidency will have in combination with a Democratic congressional supermajority - the transformation of our country into a socialist state.
The U.S.A. will become the U.S.S.A., the United Socialist States of America. Capitalism, self-reliance, limited government, personal responsibility, Christian moral standards - all the key traditions that built modern America - will be swept away in a liberal tidal wave.
According to current polls, Sen. Barack Obama is poised to win the White House on Nov. 4. Democrats are also expected to increase their majorities in Congress. In fact, some polls indicate they can attain a filibuster-proof Senate of 60 seats. This will enable Democrats to pass almost any legislation without fear of Republicans blocking it. Democrats will control every branch of government.
The results will be not only "change," but a historic political shift to the left - one that will permanently alter America for the worse.

Campaign (or) Coup d’état The Obamessiah Movement
JB Williams, Canada Free Press.com
The 2008 presidential campaign of Barack Obama is a case of truth being stranger than fiction and conspiracy being more than just theory. Hollywood
couldn’t write a more intriguing script of crime, corruption, deceit, cover-ups and international intrigue. Obama’s cultish grip on his young ill-educated minions makes Jim Jones and David Koresh look like beginners.
Anatomy of a Coup
A sudden and decisive action in politics, especially one resulting in a drastic change of government illegally, or by force, is a Coup d’Ètat.
It’s important to recognize the difference between a “legal” honest, open Democratic campaign for “change” and a corrupt coup d’Ètat. A campaign offers voters an honest unfettered look at their options and does nothing to trick, con, threaten, intimidate, defraud or force voters into dramatic “change” completely at odds with all conventional precepts.
Obama has not run an open, honest campaign. Far from it! He is running the clock out on his coup d’Ètat.
Because America is a well-armed society, change by force is the least desirable option for those seeking to dismantle the American capitalist markets and replace them with top-down federal socialism and a form of dictatorship or oligarchy. Even the once powerful Soviet Union knew better than to engage in house-to-house combat in America.
So, an American coup d’Ètat was going to look quite different from third world military coups on poor unarmed and untrained societies. Yet the anatomy of a coup remains and the elements needed to succeed are much the same.

Did The "Chicago Way" Work for Obama in Hawaii?
Joan Swirsky, RightSideNews.com
Was Obama born in Hawaii?
Was Obama born in Kenya?
Was Obama born in Indonesia?
Curious people and those who revere the United States Constitution want to know. But as lawyers, judges, investigators, journalists, and political operatives dance around those questions, the real elephant in the living room - the subject Obama and his supporters want to avoid like the plague - is the whereabouts of his birth certificate.
So, Mr. Obama, are you ready to come clean with the American people?

National Security Concerns about Barack Obama's Candidacy
Larry Johnson, NoQuarterUSA.net/blog
It is public knowledge that Senator Barack Obama has had a deliberate, long-term association with William Ayres, an admitted and unrepentant bomb-maker for the Weather Underground, a violent anti-government group active in the 1970’s. Senator Obama acknowledges his relationship with Ayres but provides little information as to its nature and extent, and minimizes its significance or relevance to his candidacy.
Additionally, it is well documented that Jeremiah Wright, the Senator’s mentor, pastor and spiritual advisor of some twenty years has publicly engaged in America-hating and racist rants. When Wright’s extremist “sermons” first became widely known to the public, Senator Obama denied knowledge of them. Later, he repudiated them, while continuing to express support for Wright. Finally, as Wright continued to be a public embarrassment to his presidential campaign, Senator Obama repudiated him.
From the perspective of my professional experience, these associations are troubling. In both instances, the individuals espoused extreme anti-American views, while Ayres over a period of time actually engaged in violent criminal actions to further his radical agenda. In both instances Senator Obama claimed ignorance of the extremist, anti-American views by these two associates until public disclosure made it impossible to deny them. And in both instances he repudiated them only after being compelled to do so by the pressure of events and public criticism.
In the meantime, serious and legitimate questions remain: What was the precise nature and extent of Senator Obama’s relationship with William Ayres? Would Senator Obama be willing to provide all records relevant to this relationship for public review? If a detailed explanation would allay public concerns, why not give it?

Point of No Return: Will we vote for the same soothing siren song as our enervated allies?
Mark Steyn, NRO.com
Across the electric wires, the hum is ceaseless: Give it up, loser. Don’t go down with the ship when it’s swept away by the Obama tsunami. According to newspaper reports, polls show that most people believe newspaper reports claiming that most people believe polls showing that most people have read newspaper reports agreeing that polls show he’s going to win.
Peggy Noonan thinks a President Obama will be like the dog who chases the car and finally catches it: Now what? I think Obama will be content to be King Barack the Benign, Spreader of Wealth and Healer of Planets. His rise is, in many ways, testament to the persistence of the monarchical urge even in a two-century old republic.
So the “Now what?” questions will be answered by others, beginning with the liberal supermajority in Congress. And as he has done all his life he will take the path of least resistance. An Obama Administration will pitch America toward EU domestic policy and UN foreign policy. Thomas Sowell is right: It would be a “point of no return,” the most explicit repudiation of the animating principles of America. For a vigilant republic of limited government and self-reliant citizens, it would be a Declaration of Dependence.

Flirting With Disaster - Democrats Giddy with a Win in Wal-E World
Kyle Smith, NY Post.com
Giddy. It's gotten giddy out there. Every day is Christmas, and Democrats wake up in the morning bouncing like toddlers as they unwrap each new gift from the pollsters. Barack Obama up three in North Carolina? It's as if the Democrats asked for a bicycle and got a Porsche, a date with Beyonce and a long-term contract to play first base for the Yankees. Obama isn't winning. John McCain is losing. People would vote for Bill Ayers if he had a (D) after his name.
President-elect-almost Obama has offered no ideas to deal with the economic crisis except the curious notion that the rich, who have already been soaked to the tune of $8 trillion or so, need to get soaked some more. The financial industry is huddling, broken and confused, in the stock market Superdome, and Obama is standing there with a bullhorn telling them they deserved their Katrina and then some.
But the voters are lapping it up. So let's hear it for Obama's intellectual and strategic guru, his Karl Rove, his Bill Kristol: Wall-E.
"Wall-E," the strangest animated feature ever released by Disney, this year sold more than $200 million worth of tickets (most of them, presumably, to Democrats) by telling the American people that we are stupid, fat and lazy, that we are destroying the earth, and that this is ultimately a good thing because things are so far gone that we need to start over with a glorious new beginning. It's basically the Book of Revelation rewritten in crayon for the secular.

The Speech
David R. Stokes, Townhall.com
The spoken word, as in “speech-making,” is still relevant. Would, for example, Barack Obama be running for the presidency if he had not been tapped to give that keynote address at the Democratic convention in 2004?
We really have not changed that much in our history. For all of our technology, and the gadgetry of the Internet age – we are still moved by a good speech. Like the one Sarah Palin gave at the Republican National Convention in September.
So, here we are in late October – going through our quadrennial ritual. We are tracking polls. We are listening to talking heads. And we are bracing ourselves for the final verbal assault.
Speeches rarely snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. History tells us that great political oratory happens, for the most part, away from the partisan environment that tends to characterize a fiercely fought campaign’s final days.

Sunday With Sister Sarah
Spectator.org
Sunday was Sarah Palin's turn to fire up the local faithful in an appearance before about 4,000 at the Tampa Convention Center. And fire them up she did, with the standard McCain/Palin themes of lower taxes, less regulation, smaller government, energy independence, and a vigorous, no-defeat, foreign policy.
"We need a tough, experienced leader now," Palin said, leaving unsaid but hanging in the air that a rookie who recoils from the word "victory" just won't do. "Our pro-growth policy will get the economy back on track," she said. "We recognize small business is the backbone of our economy."
Palin repeatedly returned to the theme that a McCain/Palin administration would lower taxes and allow Americans to keep more of their own money rather than increase taxes to allow the federal government to "spread the wealth around," as would almost surely happen in an Obama administration. She said, "It's not mean-spirited or negative campaigning to call someone out on their record."

Signs Pointing To A McCain Victory
Steven M. Warshawsky, American Thinker.com
Despite there being an entire cottage industry devoted to exposing the liberal bias of the mainstream media, Republicans and conservatives continue to allow themselves to be unduly influenced, and even demoralized, by what they read and hear in the big city newspapers and on network television.
What are they reading and hearing? That Barack Obama will be the next
President of the United States. It's inevitable. It's his election to
lose. What proof does the media offer? Public opinion polls that supposedly
show Obama "winning" the race.
This is the "narrative" that the mainstream media has been imposing on this
year's presidential campaign almost from the start.
Well, there is another story out there that the MSM refuses to address. A
huge story. One that could, and I think will, significantly affect the
The Obama Temptation
Mark R. Levin, NRO.com
I've been thinking this for a while so I might as well air it here. I honestly never thought we'd see such a thing in our country - not yet anyway - but I sense what's occurring in this election is a recklessness and abandonment of rationality that has preceded the voluntary surrender of liberty and security in other places.
I can't help but observe that even some conservatives are caught in the moment as their attempts at explaining their support for Barack Obama are unpersuasive and even illogical. And the pull appears to be rather strong. Ken Adelman, Doug Kmiec, and others, reach for the usual platitudes in explaining themselves but are utterly incoherent. Even non-conservatives with significant public policy and real world experiences, such as Colin Powell and Charles Fried, find Obama alluring but can't explain themselves in an intelligent way.
There is a cult-like atmosphere around Barack Obama, which his campaign has carefully and successfully fabricated, which concerns me. The messiah complex. Fainting audience members at rallies. Special Obama flags and an Obama presidential seal. A graphic with the portrayal of the globe and Obama's name on it, which adorns everything from Obama's plane to his street literature. Young school children singing songs praising Obama. Teenagers wearing camouflage outfits and marching in military order chanting Obama's name and the professions he is going to open to them. An Obama world tour, culminating in a speech in Berlin where Obama proclaims we are all citizens of the world. I dare say, this is ominous stuff.

The Biden Doctrine
Robert Turner, Washington Times.com
The conventional wisdom seems to be that, by selecting the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee - a veteran of more than 35 years as a Washington insider - as his vice-presidential running mate, Sen. Barack Obama has more than adequately compensated for his own total lack of foreign policy and national security experience. I have been waiting patiently but in vain for two months on the assumption the media would investigate and report on Sen. Joe Biden's record, but it hasn't happened.
The conduct of our foreign relations and the command of our military are among the most important functions entrusted to the president under our Constitution, and Mr. Biden's record in these areas is abysmal. From his first year in the Senate in 1973, he was a consistent foe of the American military.
When the Armed Services Committee recommended money for the Trident submarine, the B-1 bomber, and the MX missile (three critical upgrades to our strategic nuclear deterrent triad), Mr. Biden voted against all three - as well as against every effort by our military to protect the American people against nuclear missile attack. When the Senate voted to provide our troops with superior equipment like the M-1 Abrams tank, Joe Biden regularly voted "nay." He even voted to make all covert operations illegal (and to prohibit all intelligence collection inside foreign countries where local laws prohibited foreign espionage) and in 1986 bragged he had personally undermined Reagan administration covert operations while a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee by simply threatening to "leak" them.

Is the USA ready for an American Stalin?
Sher Zieve, RenewAmerica.us
After observing the growth of Barack Hussein Obama's increasingly militant and dictatorial movement over the last several months, I have — on many occasions — been reminded of the infamous Russian tyrant Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin. As the actual facts about Stalin may now have been omitted from US middle and high school teaching textbooks, I'll provide a brief summary of Stalin's achievements.
After the 1924 death of then Communist Party boss Vladimir Lenin, Stalin defeated his rival for power Leon Trotsky, grasped dictatorship of the Soviet Union's Communist Party and had Trotsky deported. Shortly after seizing power, in 1928 Stalin began the confiscation of privately owned farms. The farmers who balked at the thefts were exiled to desolate Siberia, died of starvation after Stalin and his police (AKA Soviet "goon squads") had forcibly taken all of their possessions and ability to earn livings or were put to death by Stalin's zealots — millions died. Phase one of Stalin's destruction of his country and its people had been completed.

John McCain, Against the Wind: Behind in the polls? It’s amazing he’s still in it at all.
Byron York, NRO.com
Editor’s note: Much recent coverage of the presidential race has focused on reports of conflict and backbiting inside the McCain campaign as the Republican presidential candidate struggles to make up ground on Barack Obama. Is McCain to blame? Is Sarah Palin to blame? Are McCain’s top advisers to blame? Who mishandled whom? What’s missing is a sense of perspective about the enormity of McCain’s task and the determined — some would say heroic — way in which he keeps going against tremendous odds. In many respects, it’s a wonder McCain is standing at all, much less within striking distance eight days before the election. Byron York’s cover story in the current issue of National Review is about the obstacles McCain faces, and what they mean for this race.
