Read this: Amending the Natural Born Citizen Requirement It is obvious BO is not natural born U.S. citizen, or his friends wouldn’t be trying so hard to make him one.

Barbara Walters, Barack Obama & A Well Scripted Interview
Speak Now America.Org
President-Elect Obama said he plans to ask people to be energy conscience, to turn the lights out and not be wasteful, unplug cell chargers. She asked if he was going to turn the lights out in the White House. He said he is going to sit down and talk about how energy is used in the White House so he can show people it can be done.
Please tell me this is NOT his energy plan for the country to replace the drilling he is so against! Check your tire pressure and flick off the lights, we don't need to drill for oil people!
Walters talked about the many racist attacks that have occurred since his election, his response was that his winning the presidency was an enormous vindication for race relations and that there will always be some who will react as such. He says he does not believe they are at the heart of who America is. He was asked if he feared for his safety, he said no he did not, he has a deep religious faith and great people who will be surrounding him and protecting him. (Not to mention this 3 million + obamabots)
Then the subject of his prized Blackberry came up and he told Barbara Walters he is in negotiation with Secret Service and attorneys, he does not like the isolation that surrounds the President. He doesn't want to be in a bubble and lose touch with the people. I thought it funny this subject came right after the one about his safety. I hope someone gave him the news that carrying around a Blackberry is right up there with having a big black arrow above his head saying " Here I am" as he will be easily tracked with it.

Why the Barack Obama Birth Certificate Issue Is Legitimate
Joe the Farmer, American Thinker.com
Does this Barack Obama birth certificate issue bug you because, although improbable, it's possible that he's not a natural born citizen, isn't eligible to be President under the Constitution, and this issue could be bigger than Watergate -- or any other "gate" in history?
Are you afraid that if you were even to raise the subject with your friends that they will think you wear a tinfoil hat, because Factcheck.org, the final arbiter of truth in the universe, said so?
Are you with the news media, and after spending so much money to get Barack Obama elected, you'd hate to ruin your investment?
Are you a talk radio host who thinks that if you say the burden of proof needed to demonstrate one is eligible to be Commander in Chief should be at least as high as, oh, say, the level to be eligible for Hawaiian homestead status (see 1.F. below), that you'd be forced to give equal time to someone who disagrees?
Are you a conservative, libertarian, or any conscientious constitutionalist from any ideological side of life, who's convinced something's not right, but you're afraid your reputation might be tarnished because, after all, this could be one big Saul-Alinsky-style set-up, and the joke would be on you?

A last electoral hurdle for Obama: Web-driven challenge to his legitimacy targets members of the Electoral College.
Patrik Jonsson, CS Monitor.com
Barack Obama has one election still to win before he moves into the White House, and by all accounts he’s a shoo-in. The Electoral College – that curious body created by the Founders to put one extra check on the popular vote – meets Dec. 15 to elect the president.
But across the US, a small band of Americans convinced that Mr. Obama is not a natural-born citizen, as the Constitution requires of presidents, are lobbying Democratic electors to take one last look at the notion that Obama was born in Kenya, not Hawaii.
The idea that Democratic electors would deny Obama the presidency strains the bounds of credulity. But the lobbying campaign points to the endurance of conspiracy theories pertaining to US presidents – and revives longstanding questions about the Electoral College itself.
“This does point out the frailty of the Electoral College system,” says Michael Mezey, an expert on the election process at DePaul University in Chicago. “The fact that in most states electors could make the decision to vote for somebody else … is a real vulnerability in the process. [Many Americans], in fact, tend to be amazed that these electors are real people.”

Proofin' the prez: Who's in charge? Constitutional lawyer says electors have duty to investigate citizenship
Bob Unruh, WND.com
The issue of Obama's citizenship has been in the news for weeks as multiple legal claims have asserted the Democrat is not a natural-born U.S. citizen. There have been claims he was born in Kenya, that he's a British subject because of his father and that he lost his citizenship in Indonesia.
Two of the cases are pending before the U.S. Supreme Court and several others that have fallen by the wayside.
Also, thousands of people are jumping aboard a petition that demands documentation of Obama's eligibility to hold the highest office in the U.S., not just assurances from party officials.

Our Idol-Elect - Why so many Americans worship Barack Obama
Lyle Rossiter, WND.com
[Note: Lyle H. Rossiter Jr., M.D., is a forensic psychiatrist and author of "The Liberal Mind: The Psychological Causes of Political Madness."]
Charismatic, brilliant, mesmerizing. These and other glowing attributions have been assigned to President-elect Barack Obama in a wave of electoral celebration. As he bounds up steps and strides across platforms to roars of approval, tears of joy on ecstatic faces, even swoons, greet his eminence.
A harsh political critic, formerly intent on altering his anatomy, now weeps in his presence. A woman widely known for her wisdom dubs him "The One." The Phenomenon himself modestly declares: "We are the ones we have been waiting for," though he really means "I am The One you have been waiting for." With his dazzling debut on the world's political stage, even foreigners have suspended their fashionable contempt for all things American. Millions now acknowledge a new Idol.

Terrorists' Restless Leg Syndrome
Ann Coulter. Townhall.com
I thought the rest of the world was going to love us if we elected B. Hussein Obama! Somebody better tell the Indian Muslims.
As everyone but President-elect B. Hussein Obama's base knows, many of the Guantanamo detainees cannot be sent to their home countries, cannot be released and cannot be tried. They need to be held in some form of extra-legal limbo the rest of their lives, sort of like Phil Spector.
Chump Change
Geoff Metcalf, NewsWithViews.com
“See, they return, one, and by one, With fear, as half-awakened.” --Ezra Pound
Some people just don't want to be confused with facts that contradict their preconceived opinions or prejudices.
During the presidential race Democrats were so committed to “change” and the counterintuitive claim that McCain represented a third Bush term (despite McCain's significant record of mucking up GOP goals and objectives) they somehow neglected to mention electing Barack Obama could result in a third Bill Clinton term (albeit arguably without the erstwhile bimbo eruptions...).
It has been reported that John Podesta, has told Senate aides Obama hoped for a speedy confirmation so the new administration could get to work quickly thereafter. Good luck with that…
In the wake of past controversies involving some of his picks, the hearings could end up being bloody and/or hugely entertaining. So, as the dust settles and the Electoral College gets close to making it official, what will the new Barack Obama administration look like? A lot like the Bill Clinton administration...warts and all.

2008 - The Age of Arrogant Ignorance
JB Williams, RightSideNews.com
In the months leading up to the 2008 election, as it became painfully clear that America was preparing to elect the most unqualified Commander-in-Chief ever to seek the Oval Office, I jokingly pondered how many current members of congress could pass a basic civics test.
Then 52% of Americans cast their ballot for a man who has done absolutely nothing to qualify himself for the highest office in the land and America's mass ignorance was coming into focus.
Two weeks after the election, we now have more valuable insight into the intelligence of the average American and it seems to confirm the world wide notion that Americans are the dumbest people on the planet.
As Seattle guest columnist Deroy Murdock explains, "Thus, Americans slouch into the 21st century -- a free and confident people blissfully unaware of how we got here or how we shall continue our 232-year-old tradition of limited self-government."

Another United Nations intrusion on our sovereignty if Barack Obama has his way
Vincent Gioia's Blogspot.com
Recently I pointed out the danger looming ahead for the United States as the White House and congress are controlled by Democrats that will result from reconsideration of previously rejected treaties. It is startling how little attention is paid by the public to what will happen to our freedom if these treaties are signed by President Obama and ratified by the Senate. Even the few responsible media ignore this danger and fail to inform Americans.
For decades Republican presidents or Republican-controlled congress were steadfast in refusing to take up these treaties even those signed by a sitting Democrat president. Perhaps the most important of these were the Kyoto Treaty signed by President Clinton and the Law of the Sea Treaty (LOST) refused to be considered by President Reagan. Had the Kyoto Treaty been ratified our total society and economy would be subject to draconian United Nations regulations that would be devastating. Unfortunately it is a great likelihood that the newest version will probably be accepted now.

Daschle-Obama health care possibilities
Tony Blankley, JWR.com
Tom Daschle proposes setting up a board to establish standards for health care delivery in the United States that would be modeled on how the Federal Reserve Board and Securities and Exchange Commission oversee banks and corporations. Technically, it only would oversee the public health systems (Medicare, Medicaid, Veterans Health Administration, etc.), which provide about 32 percent of health care nationwide.
On Page 179, he writes, "The Federal Health Board wouldn't be a regulatory agency, but its recommendations would have teeth because all federal health programs would have to abide by them." But here is the kicker: Although his board technically would have no say on the 68 percent of health care that is provided through the private sector, at the bottom of Page 179, Daschle modestly adds: "Congress could opt to go further with the Board's recommendations. It could, for example, link the tax exclusion for health insurance to insurance that complies with the Board's recommendation."
Those last 19 words would spell the end of independent private-sector health care in America.

Bipartisanship: For the Common Good?
David Limbaugh,com
Many say that now that Barack Obama has been elected, we should all work together for the common good. That sounds wonderful until you realize that we don't all agree on what is the common good.
Notice I don't take the position that Republicans should refuse to cooperate with Mr. Obama because Democrats have been indescribably partisan, cruel and unfair to President Bush for the past eight years. Those are certainly grounds to call them hypocrites, but we must always put the best interests of the nation above petty partisanship -- obviously.
So we must ask: Would it be in the best interest of the nation for Republicans to work with Barack Obama?
The only sensible answer is: It depends on what policies Obama pursues. As much as people want to believe that getting along is the highest good, there are many more important things.
If Democrats were being honest, they would agree with that statement. Otherwise, they owe us an explanation as to why they opposed President Bush at every turn. Could it be they think their ideas on Iraq, the war on terror, education, stem cell research, judges, the environment, immigration and the rest are more important to them than simply getting along? I thought so.

Opposed to Holder without Apology - The shameful pardons are disqualifying.
Andrew C. McCarthy, NRO.com
Let’s be blunt here: The Marc Rich pardon was one of the most disgraceful chapters in the history of the Justice Department. Not the modern history, the entire history. Rich was accused of mega-crimes: millions in fraud, tax-evasion, and trading with the America’s enemies. In 2000, he was a fugitive. He had been one for nearly two decades, during which the government had expended immense resources in a futile attempt to apprehend him.
Mind you, flitting from country to country to avoid prosecution, as Rich was doing, is itself a felony. When Eric Holder aided and abetted Rich’s pardon effort, he was not only grossly violating the Justice Department policy it was his job to uphold; he was dealing with the agents of someone who was actively committing a serious federal crime. That’s why, when prosecutors deal with a fugitive’s representatives, the appropriate question is: “When is he going to turn himself in?” It’s not, as Holder essentially asked, “What can I do to help?”
Holder, then Clinton administration deputy attorney general, steered the fugitive toward a friendly Clinton insider: former White House Counsel Jack Quinn. That enabled the most-wanted fugitive to lobby the President directly — and in violation of an executive order barring lobbying by recently departed White House staffers — without nettlesome interference from the Justice Department’s long-established, procedurally rigorous pardon process.

The Battle for Minnesota Is Just Getting Started -
Al Franken demands to know the identity of every voter whose absentee ballot was rejected.
John Fund, OnlineWSJ.com
In a government warehouse in the northeast part of this city, the recount of the Senate race between GOP Sen. Norm Coleman and Democrat Al Franken is orderly and transparent. Teams of workers sort paper optical-scan ballots as campaign representatives look on. Minneapolis election director Cindy Reichert allows outsiders almost to lean over the shoulders of the counters and observe their work. At least here, everyone is "Minnesota nice."
That may soon change. Today, the state's five-member Canvassing Board meets to rule on Mr. Franken's demand that it review whether absentee ballots rejected by county officials can be added to vote totals. Those ballots are likely to determine the outcome and will be the center of challenges in the courts or before the U.S. Senate, which is the final judge of the winner.
A lot rides on the result because the Minnesota race, along with a Dec. 2 runoff in Georgia, will determine if Democrats get the 60 votes they need to cut off GOP filibusters on a party-line vote. "Things are clearly moving in the wrong direction for Franken [in the recount]," Larry Jacobs, a political scientist at the University of Minnesota, told the St. Paul Pioneer Press.
