Exclusive: Holding ‘Terrorists from Within’ Accountable
On December 30, 2008, Islamic terrorists from within America showed their faces in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Tom Trento, a friend and more importantly one who is very concerned about Islamic Jihadists, attended a “pro-Hamas” demonstration in Florida and obtained excellent video of the demonstration. I highly recommend this video, along with Steven Emerson’s documentary Terrorists Among Us: Jihad in America.
The following may seem outrageous and overreaching. Some will consider it to be unconstitutional. Yes, it is sad that we have come to the point when millions of Americans are saying enough is enough. When millions say it, perhaps it is time to change our Constitution if necessary to prevent Islamic Jihadists from destroying our country.
If indeed the U.S. Constitution’s First Amendment (regarding free speech and freedom of religion) was intended to allow a group of people (many non U.S. citizens) – while on our soil – to call for the death of innocent people and the destruction of our country, and for our friend and ally, Israel, to be wiped off the face of the earth, then I as an American (who fought in war to protect this very right) insist it is time for the Amendment to be changed. As Mr. Emerson has emphasized for years, there are Islamic groups within America who call for our death. Tom Trento captured Islamic Jihadists and their supporters doing just that on video: calling for the demise of Israel and anyone/or country who supports them.
When do we begin protecting our children from Islamic Jihadists? For the last several days, I have watched the news in Israel as millions of others have. It continues to disturb me that there are still journalists, politicians, and naïve Americans who can’t come to terms with the threat we are facing. Hamas, Hezbollah, al Qaeda, and a host of other Islamic Jihadists all have one common denominator: they hate Israel, the Jewish people, and anyone who even remotely supports them. In addition, they hate anyone who does not agree with their ideology, including other Muslims. Americans need to know what the word “hate” means to Islamic Jihadists. It means kidnappings, torture even of innocent people and death to their enemies.
The ideology of Islamic Jihadists will never change. They will never accept Israel, they will never care for Americans, they hate any religion other than “Pure Islam,” and they will kill (physical Jihad) anyone who attempts to prevent them from achieving their ultimate goal: world domination under Sharia law. There is no longer any need for journalists, politicians, or innocent Americans to continue playing the politically correct game. No one, not even President-elect Barack Obama, can negotiate with those who simply want to destroy you. You can’t sit at a table and remove hundreds of years of violent ideology and brainwashing from the Islamic Jihadists who have hatred in their hearts. Even if you were able to get through to a small handful – which is unlikely – you will never change the hearts or minds of the leaders. For every Islamic jihadist leader, there are 1,000 waiting to take his place if he is captured or killed.
So what do we do? My answer won’t be popular. In order to survive another tragedy like 9/11, we must either enforce the true meaning of the First Amendment of our Constitution or clarify that it means anyone who – verbally, in writing, or in any manner supports the unlawful actions of Islamic Jihadists – must be held legally accountable. If the Constitution does give people the right to teach our children to call for death to our allies and to innocent children in Israel, does it not make sense that we as Americans demand the Constitution be changed?
What are the alternatives? Today, the Islamic Jihadists are tossing missiles into Israel. Tomorrow or in days not too far in our future - if the Jihadists and their supporters acquire the weapons in America - we will see these “rockets” being tossed in cities throughout America. It will hit home when Americans see children lying dead in the cities of New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Richmond, Atlanta, Tampa, San Francisco, and any small town or city in between. Americans need to begin visualizing their own children lying in the street after a chemical, biological, or nuclear attack. Imagine your child looking at you with fear in his eyes while suffering but there is nothing you can do to help him.
Americans will never be provided with this terrible scenario in our news services, nor will they hear it from most politicians. Critics will say this would only create fear in the public. Again, I would agree with these critics – but right now, Americans have every right to be afraid. The threat is present in every city throughout America. But let’s be clear: people should not be frightened of Muslims; they need only be frightened of Muslims who support Islamic Jihadists. I have held in my arms an injured child in Iraq who was the victim of Saddam’s Fedayeen forces (terrorists) so I have seen firsthand that, in the Middle East, many children are taught hatred by adults.
Should it not be a crime in America for a supporter of Islamic terrorist groups to teach our children it is lawful to kill a Jewish person or an infidel (the rest of us)? Tom Trento has showed us this very activity is occurring within our borders…in sunny Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
