Exclusive: When It Comes To Defending Our Nation’s Honor and Heritage, BHO is MIA

One of my favorite movie lines of all time does not come from film heavyweights such as Casablanca, Gone With the Wind or Citizen Kane. Rather, it comes from the Disney heavyweight Aladdin. In one of the scenes the Genie, seeing how the magic carpet is beating him in chess, utters in disgust, “I can’t believe I’m losing to a rug!” In a personally uncomfortable parallel, I still cannot believe that this country elected Barack Hussein Obama.

Is This An “American” President?

Between BHO’s recent description of America as arrogant to a French audience that should thank their lucky stars America was there to help them in World War II, his claim that America is not a Christian nation, and his bowing to Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah, I cannot believe that this can be our POTUS.

The last time I checked, the leader of this country should be its most passionate, proactive and determined defender and advocate. This leader should embody, above all, the simple yet profound principles upon which this nation was built such as true patriotism and love of country, sincere devotion to defending and protecting that country’s interests, and a deep respect for the religious faith and family values upon which that country was founded. In honor of the new baseball season, we can confidently declare that, on these three tests for what a true American leader should represent, BHO has strike one, strike two and strike three.

Connecting the Dots

If BHO disrespects America with every other word and every other gesture; if he ignores the basic, simple respect of our fallen heroes and glorious past, then what does the composite of his words and actions tell us about this person recently elected to this nation’s highest office?

This man declines to speak out against the hostage crisis off Somalia wherein Americans are involved. He becomes the first U.S. president to skip the American Legion Heroes Inaugural Ball in favor of celebrating with Hollywood celebrities. He tells the Turkish Parliament that our nation is appreciative of how the Islamic faith has shaped the United States while passionately taking every opportunity to ignore this country’s far more pervasive and undeniable Christian roots. He clearly favors defending illegal immigrants’ rights to invade this nation and trample its laws and the rights of lawful citizens and residents. The list could go on and on, but the results would be the same. This man definitely represents many things, but this nation is not one of them.

The Pretend Leader Has His Horse

If BHO is a pretend leader of this nation who is more its nemesis than its defender, then his pet media is his trusty horse which only carries him toward a pleasant image of an unpleasant reality. The New York Daily News, ever a staunch, fawning fanatic of BHO if there ever was one, recently depicted him as a rock star loved by our troops. Many media rags and so-called journalists salivate at what shoes and outfits BHO and his wife wear with more gusto than any of his questionable moves and words which most Americans would not appreciate.

Do not look for the liberal propaganda machine that is the mainstream media to reveal the American critic that is BHO.

Conclusion

Truly, never have so many been fooled by so few into believing so much fertilizer sold and marketed by such media frauds. Forget Osama bin Laden, Hugo Chávez or Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Why look for this country’s enemies when we have one right under our noses?

Where American values are in display, where the bravery of fallen heroes or the deep faith of this nation’s people is in full bloom, do not look for this latest version of what constitutes an American leader. Do not look for this man where true appreciation for this nation’s gifts to the world or its blessings from our Creator are honored or recognized. He will not be found anywhere near such things any more than he will be seen saluting an American flag.

Most likely, you can find BHO smiling with superficial, smug and mindless celebrities too disrespectful and ungrateful of this country’s freedom and opportunity to recognize the fact that they would be nowhere and no place without its many gifts. When looking for treason and those who represent it, you must search among traitors and those who embody it.

Above all, do not despair and do not lose hope. At least for now, we are not the sort of nation that Chávez or Ahmadinejad prefer: namely, one that does not like free elections which allow citizens to remove their mistakes peacefully. BHO wants to twist and shape this nation into something like that kind of nation – and quickly – because he knows that, given time and a clue, enough Americans who voted for his yarns will come to their senses. Have hope and faith because every four years we have the chance to change and overcome our mistakes.

For those of you who are anxiously waiting for BHO to salute that flag or actually regularly attend a Christian service in Washington as he once said he would, I offer my heartfelt sympathies. For those of you steeped in sorrow or fear over this nation’s recent election stupor, I offer a glimpse of hope. Remember that even the greatest nations can suffer from a drunken, foolish and utterly embarrassing moment of stupidity, of naïveté, and of immaturity.

The more one looks at the man enough voters just elected the leader of this nation, the more one walks away hopeful that BHO is no more than what happens when enough American minds take a Spring Break from rational, sensible and intelligent thought. With any luck, he is the drink and this nation will survive the hangover.
