Exclusive: Obama’s ‘Out-of-Body’ Experiences
If the recent Wanda Sykes White House Correspondents’ Dinner incident did anything, it was remind us that Barack Obama, in addition to being the first African-American POTUS, may very well be the first occupant of the White House to regularly exhibit “out-of-body” experiences.
Campaign Trail
Who can forget the various instances during the campaign when Obama would say or do something at one time, only to later scramble to explain or distance himself from the implications or appearances of what he had said or done? He was caught painting average Americans as gun grasping, Bible clutching hicks and then spent considerable time distancing himself from those comments. He blew off Joe the Plumber’s innocent question and then distanced himself from the tone and attitude of his response. Confronted with his questionable associations with even more questionable people with radical views, Obama proceeded to distance himself from the claim that he shared those views.
Perhaps the most glaring and absurd instance of an Obama out-of-body explanation during the campaign trail involved Obama’s efforts to distance himself from radical racial discord artist Rev. Jeremiah Wright, whose numerous anti-White, anti-America diatribes drip with the kind of hate speech overtones liberals usually love to accuse conservatives of exhibiting.
We are asked to believe that Barack Obama could listen at the feet of such a hate monger without realizing that he spewed and declared such hate. Obama declares that, had he realized that Wright dripped with such venom, he would have rejected and disavowed him immediately. We are asked to believe that Wright, who it seems would be inspired to spew racial rancor upon hearing Bing Crosby sing “White Christmas,” could slip this venom by any regular parishioner for one year, let alone, many, years.
So, we see, Obama frequently claimed to have an out-of-body experience during his campaign run to the White House, following clear physical presence with subsequent claims to not have really been there, done that, said this, or meant that.
Early White House Examples
Now barely past his first 100 days in office, our peerless leader has continued to grace us with his ability to temporarily leave his body in sticky situations and distance himself from any intellectual, political or personal implications of what his body is doing.
One need only look at the famous Hugo Chávez greeting at the Americas conference. Aside from the mindless image of the alleged leader of this nation nearly picking curtain patterns with one of this country’s most vocal foes, we are faced with Obama’s subsequent efforts to intellectually, if not physically, distance himself from his own smiling face warmly greeting an insolent despot with the integrity and intellect of a street thug. Seemingly amused by critics arguing the impropriety of his actions, Obama sarcastically wondered what all the fuss was about and how America should feel threatened by such a relatively benign neighbor as Venezuela.
Sure he warmly greeted this tyrant, but that did not mean anything. Never mind that this brute spews hatred of America at every turn. Never mind that he consorts with America’s worst enemies and threatens freedom in this region like a cancer with a bad attitude. Sure, the body of Barack Obama was nice to this ingrate, but the mind and soul of Obama were nowhere to be found. Don’t worry; be happy. Happy like Obama usually is when he greets those who wish America was dead. Of course, do not pay attention to the trademark Obama smile and warm greeting. His body may have been doing that with our enemies, but his heart, mind and soul where firmly in the right place at that time. It’s called an out-of-body experience, and it’s Barack Obama’s special gift.
The Sykes Incident
This is the man who laughed at Wanda Sykes’ crass and tasteless jokes about Rush Limbaugh and 9/11 at the recent White House Correspondents’ Dinner. One minute the video catches him thoroughly enjoying himself at the feet of Syke’s wishes for Rush Limbaugh’s death. One moment we see Mr. Smooth have a good chuckle while Sykes calls Limbaugh a terrorist and uses the 9/11 tragedy as a prop to set up another joke. The next minute we are asked to believe that Obama did not agree with Sykes’s tactless mockery of Limbaugh. The next moment Obama’s fawning media supporters ask us to believe that Obama took his drink nervously, uneasy with the tone of Sykes’ attack. Yes, his body seems to have been enjoying itself but, no, his mind, soul, heart, spirit and common sense were elsewhere to be found. In the twisted world of Barack Obama, laughing at distasteful jokes and hugging vile despots does not mean that one agrees with the joke or that despot.
His body can be in one place having a grand old time and we are supposed to believe that his mind and heart are somewhere else, distant from the clear evidence of tasteless indiscretion by a leader who more often than not seems just as distant from America’s best interest.
Conclusion
His pet media never stop reminding us just how talented, special and unique Barack Obama is. In their fawning eyes, he either can do no wrong or certainly must have a very good reason for anything he did not do so well. It seems he will always be eloquent, smooth, dapper, sophisticated and cool to this media of his, no matter what happens. Like proud parents this media gazes at his every move, clings to his every word, and marvels at everything Barack Obama can do. In their collective minds, his gifts are endless.
One of these gifts has been very evident right from the start of his long road to the White House. It is the ability to be physically in one place and somewhere else in every other way. It is the capacity to be so close to a loose cannon preacher without bearing a single stain from that preacher’s gun powder. It is the ability to make a sarcastic, snide remark to an innocent citizen or about innocent citizens and claim that his mind, heart and intent were miles away from the scene of the slime. It is the knack for slipping and sliding away from the stumbles and stammers of his mouth and still be ordained the orating leader by a media whose selective focus is embarrassing. Any slip by Bush or Palin resulted in mocking condescension from a snide media hell bent on painting them as ignorant hicks. Let Obama slip, and you can hear crickets in the silence of the media’s restraint with the truth.
His physical body can laugh at crude comments, cut down those who dare question his omnipotence, make mocking references about typical Americans, and say much without saying anything, but his mind, soul, heart and intent are always miles away, protected from any possible criticism or comment. Simply stated, Barack Obama’s mind and rhetoric never have to be accountable to what his mouth and body do. Video evidence of a slip or questionable comment, action or reference, which can be clear proof of yet another Obama weakness, somehow never finds it way as evidence of Obama’s heart and soul. Rather, his physical stumbles are brought to light, if ever, without justifiable connection to what is inside his mind and heart.
The smiling Barack Obama who thoroughly enjoyed Wanda Sykes’ comments now wants us to believe that his mind, heart and soul were in a different mind zone than facial reactions would indicate. In the magical world of Barack Obama, smiling does not necessarily imply approval, joy or agreement. Most, if not all, conservatives would have hell to pay for calling Obama a terrorist or wishing his untimely death. Let Wanda Sykes do the exact same thing and it is fair game and expected spunk.
This Fourth of July, take a good look at what Barack Obama’s body is doing, because his heart, mind and soul might well be somewhere else in yet another out-of-body experience.
