It’s Time to Hold All U.S. Government Officials Accountable

The Declaration of Independence states, in part: ".That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to affect their Safety and Happiness..."
 
The arrogance of power in the executive, legislative and judicial branches of government has reached epic and intolerable proportions across the nation. The U.S. President, Vice-President, cabinet members and senior appointed officials, members of Congress, and members of the Supreme Court take the following sacred oath of office:
 
"I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same, that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion, and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God."
 
Sadly, we have seen most of them violate their oath.
 
Fraud, lying and corruption are rampant in the institutions of government and some have engaged in treasonous activities. They know who they are, as do the people.
 
The Articles of Confederation were replaced with the Constitution which granted the federal government enough authority to cultivate, promote and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our posterity but not enough authority to destroy it. The balance between governmental authority and individual liberty was understood and accepted. Federal power was confined to that which was specifically enumerated in the Constitution and no more. And that power was further limited as it was spread among three federal branches – the legislative, executive and judicial. Beyond that, the power remained with the States and, ultimately, the people. In 1789, Thomas Jefferson was overheard saying to James Madison, "Every government degenerates when trusted to the rulers of the people alone. The people themselves therefore are its only safe depositories."
 
In 1861, Abraham Lincoln's issued this warning in his inaugural address:
 
"Any people anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up and shake off the existing government and form a new one. This is a most valuable and sacred right - a right which we hope and believe is to liberate the world."
 
The U.S. Constitution, Article One, Section Five, Clause II and the 10th Amendment to the Constitution provide the constitutional authority for the President, Vice-President, cabinet appointees, members of Congress and members of the Supreme Court to be removed from office for failure to properly discharge their constitutional duties and responsibilities.
 
The U.S. Constitution allows the citizens of their country to freely elect their government leaders. Americans elect the president and vice-president every four years, members of the House of Representatives every two years, members of the Senate every six years. Members of the Supreme Court are nominated by the president and receive lifetime appointments if confirmed by the Senate. And political appointees in the executive branch serve at the pleasure of the President if confirmed by the Senate.
 
"We, the People" have had enough of this current government. They, not the American People, are on a socialist and treasonous death march and bankrupting the country. We have watched a number of elected and appointed officials defile our nation's founding documents and sacred principles – and violate their sacred oath of office.
 
These are extraordinary times. "We, the People" cannot necessarily wait for the next round of elections because of the urgent and deteriorating national security and economic conditions. The time has come to call on these public servants to put the interests of "We, the People" above their own self-interests.

I, respectfully, disagree. We are 30 years late in holding these people accountable. It is now time to enroll them in the Donald Trump Management Plan aka,YOU ARE FIRED! Maybe we should drug test all politicians and their staff members. The rest of us drug test for our employment. And these people certainly behave as if they are high on something!!!

If we the people cannot wait until the next election to hold these people accountable, just what does the general have in mind? It almost sounds like he is calling on us to rise up and do something extra-constitutional, which would be ironic, given his apparent reverence for the Constitution.

I fantasize about tar/ feathering ALL of them, including George Bush, The Clintons and Obama, and all of Congress and ACLU appointed federal judges and after that humiliation, for lack of thought to the citizens of this country, I would love to throw them all Off the Arlington Bridge into the Potomac River. They all have lost sight of leading the people. They all seem so clueless as to what the American citizen has endured for the last 20 years. (Dear Secret Service...note the word 'Fantasized', its only a fantacy, I have no plans whats so ever in doing this.

The General is my choice for "Patriot of the Week" for his call-to-arms. The only thing I wish he had mentioned was the Invasion happening 24/7 along our Southern Border and how it must be stopped. We cannot survive as a country without the Southern Border being closed. Buzzwords like "operational control" are meaningless.

Hello General,
Very well articulated, but what is the battle plan?
It seems as if all the avenues have been tried and no one has gotten to first base. The only thing these people understand is FORCE, but do we have it?
Before you say we do, let's look at the differences in those who oppose the elitists:
Ex 1, Politicians:
Ron Paul opposes them on the grounds that they have spoiled our money system. It is true. But Ron Paul is not in agreement with those who seek to abolish abortion because he does not warm up to their argument that all have a FEDERALY protected right to life. Instead he wants the states to sort it out. Most Americans want a more forceful approach to abortion.
Ex 2: Conservative talk shows
Glenn Beck bravely stood up to Van Jones, an Obama czar who admitted he was a communist.
But when another czar appeared, who as an authority figure had advised a youngster not to denounce a man who had been abusing him sexually, Beck went strangely silent.
He does not represent the grass roots in this vital issue and is in fact dangerously lax -- possibly even a sympathizer with this czar, for all we know.
Ron Paul is brave, but only on certain issues.
Glenn Beck is a brave heart too, but only on certain issues.
Even with these 2 brave gents emerging victorious in their respective corners, they fall short of defending all of us -- particularly the weakest and most defenseless of us -- because even they cannot stand up against the worst bullies on the block, each settling for defeating only one of the lesser ones.

Hello General. I am in total agreement with you. And I also keep wondering "what is the battle plan?", as the gentleman before asked. We keep talking and complaining out here , while the people in govt are totally ignoring anything that we Americans have been saying to them. Whenever we take a stand and attend town hall meetings and tea parties,and march to the streets of Washington D.C., our govt officials are so far out of touch with the real world, that some make fun of us and some call us names , and some totally ignore us. And Obama acts as if the people who attend the tea parties are a great big joke! So what do we do ? I am feeling so ready to clean house right now ! But how do we do that ? Feeling pretty darned helpless and frustrated these days. I keep watching and hearing about our corrupt government officials doing their best to tear our country apart brick by brick each and every day. And some of our officials (lap dogs) don't seem to care if they are never elected again as they turn their backs on us, because they have accepted some wonderful bribe which Pelosi has promised them. The corrupton is inside our elementary schools, (children singing hymns to Obama), and colleges are full of Marxist professors, indoctrinating our children there, as well ! History is being re-written inside the text books. And it seems to me that the govt is deliberately causing our economy to fail ! And I am also upset about the lack of financial support, as well as proper respect for our American troops. Morals and values in Washington have gone down the toliet, and the communists and Marxists keep stepping in everywhere they can to do their level best to bury us all! And Obama has surrouned himself with them in The White House! I keep feeling that our best days in America are over, and that all of our freedoms will soon be too, if we do not do something to make them stop! I am sick and tired of watching them stomp all over our constitution on a daily basis. So what on earth do we do to take our country back again ?

Some agree we MUST do something, and do it now before it's too late to do anything at all.
I've expressed in other forums that we need the military to be ON OUR SIDE because, sooner or later, they will suffer the same fate as we if they don't.
Those of you who read Family Security Matters who have friends and relatives in Iraq and Afghanistan, I suggest: since it's the NCO's who get the troops going, have them fly home to military airfields here in the U.S.A. Tell them what we propose, and tell them they will sooner or later suffer the same fate as we if they don't.
At this point, if anyone reading this doesn't know what I'm hinting at, then, you're not with us.
We, along with the military, can take back our country w/o any trouble.
I am not the only one who feels that the Tea Parties are a waste of time because congress won't listen to anything we have to say. Besides, actions speak louder than words.

General, I completely agree with you, but I'm afraid these people are now so corrupt that I believe they would actually committ mayhem against Americans rather than listen to them. Remember how Nancy Pelosi, to give on example, called Americans that were objecting to the administrations actions on a number of issues were labeled NAZIS BY PELOSI. Think about this for a minute. An American politician, sworn to serve the citizenry, calling that citizenry NAZI'S. What would she do if things got more serious than Americans complaining at their own Town Halls?(the ones their taxes pay for)

Sir, if called upon to do so, would you consider taking command of a unified militia in this great nation? The one thing that will unify us is a Patriot of your stature. You would honor US and the Constitution of the United States of America by answering the call.
