‘Undocumented’ White House Guests Deserve Our Pity and Support

The following is a letter to the editor of the Las Vegas Review Journal, published November 29, 2009.
 
I don't understand why the White House is so upset about the two party crashers at Barack Obama's steak dinner the other night.
 
Is it really appropriate and politically correct to call them party crashers just because they trespassed on Mr. Obama? Does that make them criminals? Isn't that discrimination? Shouldn't they be rewarded for such bold and brave behavior? Maybe they were just trying to feed their family?
 
I would suggest that it's more appropriate to call them "undocumented guests."
 
Just because they weren't officially invited doesn't mean they should be treated like criminals. Maybe they should get free health care, free housing, free legal services and free White House green cards so next time they can enter legally. And they should be able to bring all of their relatives and family members, too.
 
How can Mr. Obama be mad at them just because they crossed over some arbitrary man-made border? They were there only to do the things that regularly invited guests didn't want to do. (Like hang out with Joe Biden.)
How can the White House punish these poor oppressed undocumented visitors?

With all of the brouhaha about these "gatecrashers", I wonder why not one news outlet has dug deeper into who these people are, who their friends are, what their alliances are, did they ever meet the Obamas, why did the social secretary seem so positive that they should be included in the dinner in the first place if she "might" have known them to be friends of a Palestinian friend of the President and/or associates of the President, etc., etc... World Net Daily posted an article on November 29 by Aaron Klein immediately after the event concerning their connection with Rashid Khalidi, a pro-Palestinian professor who excuses terrorism and has been a close associate to President Obama. With the research capabilities of the writers who contribute to FSM, I would think that someone would have checked this story out to find out if it's true or not. IF this article is true, then they knew President Obama from previous events. Find the truth and report it!!!
