Exclusive: …And the Violence Continues in Mexico
Allan Wall

The narco-cartel violence continues unabated in Mexico, in fact, it’s going from bad to worse. Universal, Mexico’s paper of record, does a detailed job of keeping a running tally of the carnage.
Universal reported that, as of February 3, 2010, the death count in the drug wars had already passed 1,000. Yes, you read that right. In a little over a month, 1,015 people had been killed.
On average, that’s a killing every 48 minutes.
Universal’s statistics of the past five years show the situation getting worse by the year.
In 2005, the 1,000th death mark was reached on September 11th. In 2006 it was June 30th. In 2007 it was May 14th. In 2008, the 1,000th death was reached on April 22nd. Last year, it was reached on February 20th. This year, it was February 3rd.
You notice that it’s earlier each year.
To put it another way, this year it’s only taken 34 days to kill as many people as were killed in a 254-day period in 2005.
Thus far in 2010, the day with the most killings was January 9th, in which 69 persons perished in the narco-carnage. On January 31st, 57 were killed. On the 20th it was 53, on the12th it was 44 and on February 3rd, 25 were killed. On New Year’s Day, 37 were killed.
When you break the 2010 statistics down geographically, you find that nearly a quarter of the killings, 24.3 percent, took place in the state of Chihuahua, followed closely by Sinaloa state at 22.5 percent. Baja, California had 11.6 percent, Durango 8.2 percent and Guerrero 7.8 percent. Killings in all other states combined totaled 25.6 percent.
The body count is bad enough, but what’s really disturbing is the grisly nature of the murders and the impunity with which they are dispatched.
On Sunday morning, January 31st, 15 people, most of them teenagers, were massacred in Ciudad Juarez.
On February 1st, the city of Torreon, Coahuila, was the scene of a car chase in which a cartel commando traveling in six vehicles was pursued. They arrived at a popular shopping mall, in which shoppers going about their business were interrupted and had to hit the floor. They heard the shots right outside in the first shootout, in which one cartel hit man was slain.
After escaping and driving two kilometers, the hit men were ambushed by federal police. The ensuing gunfight lasted 20 minutes, and one policeman and five cartel gang members were killed.
The gruesome, yet meticulous manner, in which these people operate is demonstrated by another case from early January.
The body of a kidnap victim was found in various locations in the city of
Los Mochis. I say “various locations” because the body had been hacked into seven pieces and left in several different places.
The victim’s torso, in a plastic container was found in one location. The legs, arms and skull were inside a box at another location. The victim’s face, however, had been removed from the skull, sewn onto a soccer ball, and placed in a plastic bag that was left at the City Hall.
This was all utilized as a warning to a rival cartel. An accompanying message read “Happy New Year, because this will be your last.”
We live in age of the best technologies, best intelligence, best trained manpower, and best equipment in the history of the world yet we did not prevent the events of Sept. 11, 2001 nor do we seem to be able to curtail drug trafficing? Maybe we need ask ourselves...WHY?

This acceleration of violence in Mexico & elsewhere, breaks my heart. Look here people forget that in-fabulous 1929 St. Valentine's Day massacre nonsense. You remember? That little incident that took place in old Chicago in some dumb garage. That so-called massacre stood the test of time? That is until now.
I have also reluctantly read some of those most disturbing news articles too. Especially that thought-provoking one published by the Associated Press. This particular article spelled out the massacre of those dear kids in some unwanted graphic details.
Now mind you, this kind of violence is not just appearing in Mexico alone? No, Chicago,Detroit,LA,Arizona and countless other American cities have all seen a significant rise in this gang-related violence too. I believe we have sadly become oblivious to all this violence. Countless brutal slayings that give a true testimony to our failure.
I predict that "soon this insatiable violence will become a worldwide epidemic of biblical proportions"
Isn't that what Jesus said thousands of years ago when his disciples asked him privately??? "What will be the signs pointing to your return to earth? Now unless we have all conveniently become spiritually blind to this insatiable evil that is now devouring this planet before us all, take notes.
Now granted, we have seen all these things and many more throughout the centuries. However the key lies with the frequency that these events are now occurring. You want a time-frame? How about the past two decades for starters. Without question everything's on the rise. Earthquakes, natural disasters like hurricane Katrina, 911 terrorism approaching epidemic proportions worldwide. Hatred, bigotry, adultery, the insane appeasement of criminals, and the kind of violence I never thought I'd ever see after growing up in the fifties.
Now if you choose to believe this or not doesn't really matter, no for the fact's now speak for themselves.
Fact' this was already predicted to materialize centuries ago.
Fact, in a time where the crucifixion of Christ would no longer hold any real spiritual validity in the hearts & minds of men.
"translated!"
"IN THE LAST DAYS OF MAN'S AUTHORITY HERE ON THIS EARTH"
Now I ask you, for the question has been asked many time before???
How long will this righteous holy God who is slow to anger, stand-by and allow this insanity to continue on before he loses face with his creation?
NOT LONG PEOPLE , NOT LONG!
