America Watches as Washington Burns

Yes, America, you are watching while Washington burns before our eyes. What does a country and its citizens do as their nation continues to collapse? What are you going to do? The Declaration of Independence states:
“To secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to affect their Safety and Happiness.”
We cannot permit the current leaders in the White House and Halls of Congress to continue in their efforts to lead us down the road of Progressive Socialism. This is the current battle that we Constitutionalists face and we must be aggressive in our efforts.
Notice I have the terms “liberal,” “conservative,” “Democrat,” “Republican,” “left” and “right” from my vocabulary, as they have little meaning in today’s battle for our Country. Incompetence and Dishonesty of officials now come into play as relates to our National Security and Economy and is the rationale for resignations and a change of government.
My emphasis in this article will be a continued plea for Americans to demand the resignation of these officials by the people of this country. We are even at a point that if the demanded resignations and elections do not happen to the degree needed to save the country then we must proceed to Impeachment and a serious transfer of Power at the highest levels of government.
Numbers just released this week:
- Foreclosures – 300,000 per month
- Job losses in February – 462,000 (more)
- Budget deficit: another $221 billion
- Kansas City closing one half of its schools
- Healthcare “reform” running up more trillion dollars of debt and taxes.
- More States moving towards defaults and cities toward bankruptcies
Lincoln issued this warning in his inaugural address, “Any people anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up and shake off the existing government and form a new one. This is a most valuable and sacred right – a right which we hope and believe is to liberate the world.” Being a representative republic, not a democracy, “rising up” means revolution by any other means than arms. The people must “rise up” (“stand up,” as we say now) from the grass roots across this great country as we think of the greater good of this and future generations. We are limited in the peaceful transfer of power…resignation, elections, and impeachment.
The oath is simple and reads:
“I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same, that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion, and that I will faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.”
Sadly, we have seen them violate their oath. Fraud, lying, and corruption are rampant. Some have engaged in treasonous activities, and they effectively thumb their noses at us and have sold you to the highest bidder.
The Articles of Confederation were replaced with the Constitution, which granted the federal government enough authority to cultivate, promote and secure the Blessings of Liberty. The balance of authority and individual liberty was understood. Power was confined to that which was enumerated in the Constitution with a certain and meaningful intent for check and balances.
Article One, S5, CII and the 10th Amendment provides the authority, but this has been trumped by a system that rewards the powerful. In 1803, each congressional district averaged 38,476 people. In 2010 it is forecast to exceed 710,000. These numbers indicate the growth of power, and it effectively grew eightfold in the 20th century alone. No wonder our representatives seek to stay in office so long! Power is the now the basis for running for and staying in office, where civilian service was the goal in the past. They must be termed out. With incumbency comes power. The party in the majority assigns power, so a long-term sitting representative can expect such power. A representative expected to stay in office in the 3rd Congress for approximately two years now expects 12 years, or six terms. So much for a “citizen government!”
Tip O’Neill, once said: “All politics are local.” This is never truer than today when entrenched politicians, long in office, build war chests impossible to overcome. But this can be changed, through grass roots organizations and discourse. We must make it a local imperative and movement….of the People…by the People… and For the People.
“We, the People” have had enough. Enough is enough. The White House and identifiable Members of Congress are now on a progressive socialist and treasonous death march and are bankrupting the country. We have watched them violate their sacred oath of office. “We, the People” cannot necessarily wait for the next round of elections.
It is now that these public servants must put our interests above self-interest by resigning immediately or changing their action and legislative efforts. A civil uprising is still not out of the question. They know which side of their bread the butter is on and it is not on our side. I am confident more and more resignations will be forthcoming based on the efforts of the people. The Vote in 2010 will be critical as well. This means raising your voice now to your neighbors, family, co-workers, and friends. Grass roots efforts have begun; it is now time to put that effort into overdrive.
I have long wondered how Congress or any of its members -- or, especially, the Administration -- can believe my own consent is implied in anything they do. Despite my vociferous, sometimes anguished pleas for common sense and the memory of just who it is that has put them where they are, they have continued to work in a manner that many times is not in my own best interests.
I have not surrendered, nor will I surrender, my brain or my will or my rights and shall continue to remind these people for whom the bills toll. And for whom the polls tell.

Unfortunately the election of Obama has brought about a plan based upon the strategy of manufactured crisis of destroying the economy and our system of government. The methodology is known as the "Cloward-Piven Strategy".
"This strategy can be summarized as forcing political change through orchestrated crisis." (Apathetic-USA.com Intro Movie)
According to David Horowitz, (DiscoverTheNetworks.org) the strategy "seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse."
Look at HealthCare Reform. This contentious legislation has been on the table for a year and has created nothing but chaos. In this ObamaCare bill is language that authorizes a fine and/or imprisonment on citizens who don't buy a health insurance plan. It also empowers the IRS to make automatic withdrawals from a citizen's bank account, even against their will, to pay the premium. Nowhere in the U.S. Constitution is there language that empowers the Congress to authorize this action yet it is about to be voted on in the House of Representatives.
More chaos is looming with the Cap and Trade bill which is all about redistribution of wealth.
These two bills may be enough to make the Cloward-Piven strategy successful.
So, where does this stop? November! The elections are where to put a stop to the destruction of our nation as we know it.
Simply electing Republican candidates is not the answer. But electing candidates who believe in limited government, reining in the out of control spending by the federal government, are committed to preserving and defending the Constitution, and will support the independence of citizens as outlined in the Bill of Rights and who support the free enterprise system of government are the ones who need to be elected in November. The Combat Veterans for Congress PAC embraces these ideals and says so in its mission statement.
Its time to take back our country before the Obama crowd destroys it with a socialist empire. If enough chaos is created then the President can enact a bill that authorizes him to declare martial law and take control of the government for as long as he deems necessary. King Obama you say? Let's hope not. But first the HealthCare Reform Bill must be defeated. This will weaken the Obama Administration enough to drag the Cloward-Piven Strategy to the November elections whereby the citizens can reclaim the country and restore the values and ideals of the Founding Father's.
Candidates who support the Obama-Reid- Pelosi style of government which is to invade a citizen's privacy, require purchase of commodities/products (health insurance) and redistribute wealth should be defeated. At this time, there are 216 such candidates in the House of Representatives who meet this test. All should be voted out of office and replaced in November.

General: Men like Bruce Danto lived their lives to see such a day as this, but alas, he left us a few years before he could have seen the his fears occupy Washington in absolute.
What I suspect is that a Junta is necessary. Recalling the glories of Burma until the late 1920's, one need only reflect upon the fall of all nations who fall from God.
Many of our leaders have pitted themselves against God-Almighty. And, God-Almighty will be glorified, not the narcissistic juvenile minds of Capital Hill.

The Majors warning in the above article is clear. Afterall, Nancy Pelosi, called American citizens NAZIS, when they were protesting at the very Town Halls their own taxes paid for. Yet, some Americans still don't get it!!
