Exclusive: Call PETA, No One Else is Doing Anything!
Gadi Adelman

Each week, I sit down at my computer and try and think of new ways to educate people on the threats of Jihad and Sharia while still attempting to keep it fresh and interesting. It also seems that there is never a lack of material with all that is going on in the world. However, I don’t want to be one of a thousand other people writing about the same topic either.
With all the news this week about the arrest of two alleged female American Jihadists, Colleen LaRose, otherwise known as “Jihad Jane,” and Jamie Paulin-Ramirez, several things occurred to me.
Let me touch on a few obvious things. First, they were American converts and certainly did not fit the typical profile of would-be Jihadists with their blonde hair and blue eyes. This is something I’ve been talking about since 9/11 when I said, “Next they (the terrorist organizations) will start recruiting blonde-haired, blue-eyed people as well as women, as our government starts to look for men who look Middle Eastern.” Second, Colleen LaRose was extremely bad at attempting anything covert, to say the least, using her real last name “Fatima LaRose” in several of her posts; and Jamie Paulin-Ramirez could not have been more obvious when she posted on Facebook, “STOP calling Muslims terrorists!”
But that aside… I have to wonder one thing. For years I have been speaking out on Islam, Jihad and Sharia, and for years I’ve wondered – where the hell are all the women’s advocacy groups? I spoke about this before 9/11 because of the atrocities against women in Afghanistan due to the Taliban. Day after day, week after week, we read about the horrendous happenings to women the world over because of Sharia. In fact, it is occurring more and more here in America and yet, I never hear a peep from one women’s advocacy group. It’s not like they don’t know what Sharia is doing, or capable of; the people in these groups must read the news or watch television.
“Violence against women, particularly honor killings and thrashing, has registered a quick increase of over 20 percent in Pakistan, with the Sindh province and the federal capital the most vulnerable.
As many as 9,396 such cases were recorded in the year 2009 against 7,802 in the corresponding 2008, according to the Interior Ministry’s comparative figures available with The News here. Incidents of beating up women jacked up by 17 per cent, honor killings six per cent, acid throwing 19 per cent, rapes 10 per cent and physical harassment at workplaces 17 per cent, which are the major areas of targeting women, provides the two-year comparison. As many as 1,096 women were murdered, 901 beaten up, 329 faced other domestic incidents, 408 became victims of honor killings, 30 faced acid attack or were burnt through stove, nine fell prey to Vani, 2,088 were raped and 187 were gang-raped in 2009.”
Here in the United States women are not immune. I wrote about this in my article “One Nation under Allah”back in January:
In July 2008, a Pakistani man living near Atlanta was charged with beating his 25-year-old daughter to death for declining to go along with an arranged marriage to a cousin twice her age.
In Irving, Texas, on New Year’s Day 2008, Amina Said, 18, and her sister Sarah, 17, were shot to death by their father for having unsanctioned boyfriends.
In Upstate New York in ‘08, Waheed Allah Mohammad, an immigrant from Afghanistan, was charged with attempted murder after repeatedly stabbing his 19-year-old sister because he was "infuriated his younger sister was going to clubs, wearing immodest clothing, and planning to leave her family for a new life in New York City".
On February 12, 2009, in Orchard Park, Buffalo, NY, forty-four year-old Muzzamil Hassan, a prominent Muslim businessman, was arrested for having allegedly beheaded his wife, thirty-seven year-old Aasiya Z. Hassan and for what? Aasiya was having Muzzamil served with divorce papers.
And of course there is the case of Noor Almaleki that I wrote about just last week in my article “How Do You Plead, Guilty or Not Guilty? ‘I Plead Muslim!’” Noor was run down with a Jeep Cherokee by her own father, Faleh Hassan Almaleki, for what even he admitted was intentional because his “daughter had brought shame on him and his family.”
I could continue with many other examples of living horror for such women, but in case you were unaware, here is what Sharia law allows when dealing with women:
Obligatory female genital castration;
Requirement of women to obtain permission from husbands for daily freedoms, such as leaving the house unescorted by a male family member;
Beating of disobedient women and girls;
Compulsory acceptance of polygamy and forced child marriages;
Requirement of the testimony of four male witnesses to prove rape;
Stoning to death of adulteresses
According to the Koran men are superior and more intelligent than women;
Koran- 4:34 "Men have authority over women because Allah has made the one superior to the other, and because they spend their wealth to maintain them. Good women are obedient.
Men are commanded to beat their disobedient wives;
Koran- 4:34 "As for those from whom you fear disobedience, admonish them and send them to their beds apart (stop having sexual relations with them), and beat them."
The above verse was revealed in connection with a woman who complained to Muhammad that her husband slapped her on the face, which was still marked by the slap. At first Muhammad said to her "Get even with him," but then added 'Wait until I think about it." Later, the above verse was revealed and Muhammad added,
“We (He and the woman) wanted one thing, Allah wanted another.” In other words, God blessed a man slapping around his wife. Three Islamic scholars – Zamakhshari, Jalalan and Baydawi - also support this.
The Arabic is much stronger than the words "beat them." It actually translates "scourge (whip) them."
Another Muslim scholar (Imam al-Mawawi, in Riyad al-Salihin, ("The Orchards of Righteous Men"), p 107-108) addresses this issue by relating a story from early Islam:
"Umar Khattab came to Muhammad saying, 'Women have dared to disobey husbands.' He (Muhammad) allowed their husbands to scourge them. Many women approached Muhammad complaining against their husbands because Muhammad received a verse for the Koran which commands their husbands to scourge them."
In addition to this Zamakhshari writes:
"Muhammad said 'Hang up your scourge (whip) where your wife or wives can see it'.”
This is meant to remind the wife that disobedience will bring physical punishment.
Asma, Abu Bakr's daughter said, "I was the fourth wife of al-Zabayr Ibn Awwam. Whenever he became angry at any of us he struck us with a hook rod until it was broken." Zabayr was one of Muhammad's special “companions.”
DIVORCE:
The Koran also treats women like pieces of property for men. The ease of divorce accommodates the man, but not the woman (she needs her husband's permission).
Ref. 4:20 - "If you wish to replace a wife with another, do not take from her dowry... that would be unfair".
If a man has divorced his wife three times she may not remarry him, until she has married another man, and consummated that marriage, then divorced the other man. ref. 2:230. Islamic law calls this other man “Muhalil.” This is supported by Bukhari, and the commentators Jalalan, Baydawi, and Soyuti.
Women can be divorced by their husbands with or without cause, but a woman can seek divorce from her husband only with her husband's consent.
LEGAL TESTIMONY:
A woman's legal testimony is worth half of a man's,
Koran- 2:282 "...and call in to witness two witnesses, men; or if the two be not men, then one man and two women, such witness as you approve of, that if one women errs the other will remind her."
MEN ARE THE MASTERS OF WOMEN:
Islam teaches the husband to be responsible for his wife and household as indicated in 4:34. It is his role as “qawwam” or manager. In the Hans-Wehr Arabic-English Dictionary, p800: “Qawwam” means: “manager, director, superintendent, caretaker, keeper, custodian, guardian". Islamic men do indeed manage their women in a way that makes them their wives’ masters.
As a final reference, examine Muhammad's farewell address. I quote from Guillaume's translation, The Life of Muhammad, A Translation of Ibn Ishaq's Sirat Rasul Allah page 651:
"Lay injunctions on women kindly, for they are prisoners with you having no control of their persons."
You can see that men do more than “maintain” women. They indeed are women's managers and masters.
4.2) Women are deficient with respect to men in piety.
4.3) Women are deficient in gratitude when compared to men.
In Islamic law a woman is worth only half of a man. They are made to wear burkas and stay inside their homes, causing illness and nutritional deficiencies due to lack of sunlight. They are not even second class citizens. They are oppressed. I treat my dogs better than women in Islam are treated. How many women in this country, or any other, must suffer or die before we hear the outcry from all of the women’s advocacy groups, and why have we not heard anything up to this point? Why are none of these groups educating the public on the oppression of women in Islam?
A quick search on the internet and you will find the following list of organizations. All of these groups, to their eternal shame, are silent on this horrifying and urgent crisis.
American Association of University Women; Chicago Women's Liberation Union; Concerned Women for America; Feminist Majority Foundation; Feminists for Life; Independent Women's Forum; International Women's Democracy Center; National Council of Jewish Women; National Council of Women's Organizations; National Organization for Women; National Women's Health Network; New York Radical Women; Radical Women; Society for Women's Health Research; Women Against Pornography; Women Against Violence in Pornography and Media; Women's Edge; Women's Peace Party; Women's Peace Union; Younger Women's Task Force. This was from one search on one page of one site and I chose only those that support or promote women’s rights.
Does their silence allow Western women who are ignorant of Islam’s misogynistic cruelty to convert to Islam because they are unaware of the truth behind Islam and Sharia? It begs the question: how many other women – Jihad Janes – will choose this route and end up like Colleen LaRose or worse, like Noor Almaleki because they had not even heard, let alone been told the truth, about Islamic or Sharia law?
You can bet one thing for sure. Had any of the above cases of women “scourged” by Islam been family pets and not people, PETA would be screaming to the heavens and every one would be aware of this.
Women of the world unite!
Indeed.

PETA won't do anything. The organization is only interested in the fair treatment of animals, not slaves of those who behave as animals.

Gadi nails it again - where are the women's groups?
Feminist Helen Reddy sings "I am Woman Here me Roar" but all I hear is Simon and Garfunkel's "Sounds of Silence"
Perhaps the women's groups are afraid of Islamist threats of violence and unwilling to speak up. The Conservatives for all these years have been a safe soft target. Women's advocates could blast the Republicans without every having to worry about a terrorist attack in retaliation.
For America women's groups to champion the oppressed women who follow Islam will be a direct attack on Political Islam and the Islamists will likely retaliate with violence against the American Women's Groups.
Conclusion: Helen Reddy should change her hit song for the feminist movement to "I am Woman hear me Roar as I Submit and cower out the back door"

Feminists have no interest in speaking for oppressed Muslim women. They are Leftists, and for them their hatred of America far outweighs any other supposed interest.

Well, the feminist groups will ignore the problem until they find theirselves covered from head to toe in cloth and are on the ground being stoned to death. I imagine that their perspective on radical muslims will change at that point. Isn't it a pity that stupidity runs so rampant throughout the feminist movement. I care about the rights and proper treatment of any female, that's why I don't understand why the "feminist groups" ignore this awful problem.

I'm reading "Lifting the Veil" by Phil & Julie Parshall right now. DREADFUL -- Forget 9-11 and jihad (including stealth jihad)... Islam is waging war on half (or more) of its own population...its women and girls! Where is every feminist who ever raised a fist against male domination? All women of the world need you ... right now!
