RUSH: Let me give you some advice on this thing.

CALLER: Okay.

RUSH: I want you to listen up and listen close because the way they are asking respondents or participants here to identify their "race," you're going to laugh yourself silly when you see it is options for race. What I want each and every one of you to do – because, remember, now Obama's using this. This going to be used for reapportionment. This is going to be used for congressional delegation reapportionment. It's going to be used for welfare spending, entitlement. It's going to be used for all kinds of stuff. They have got races I've never heard of identified on this!

CALLER: (chuckling)

RUSH: So I want you to check the box that says "other" and write in "American."

CALLER: You got it.

RUSH: Will you do that for me?

CALLER: I certainly will.

RUSH: Check the box that says "other."  What possible other races could there be? They've got everything but Martian on there.

[snip]

RUSH:  […]  Just don't forget on the Census form. When you check off your race, check the box that says "other" and (in all caps) write in "American." There's a campaign out there, I guess we just started it, a campaign out there to get this done and just have a little fun with it.

Okay, it might be fun to play with the minds of the drudges who count heads in the Census Bureau. But -- when I received my census packet in the mail (to "resident of"), the first thing I read was: "Your response is required by law." Whose law? What's the penalty for not "responding"? I tore the damned thing up and tossed it. I don't answer to the state. I'm not government property, I'm not an indentured servant obliged to account for himself. I'm not going to behave like a nose-ringed tax-cow. I'll refuse to buy government-mandated health insurance, too. I encourage mass civil disobedience is the bill passes, votes or through "deeming." I hope other Americans follow suit. The communists want a fight? They've asked for it.

I think I'll put Texan since I am a fourth or fifth generation native. One gggrandmother was born in the Republic of Texas, two gggrandfathers were confederate soldiers, one with Texas' Elnore regiment, and two ggggfathers were American Revolutionary Soldiers. American might be a second choice - wo ancestors landed in Virginia in 1619 and 1625. I wonder why Hispanic is not a race - sure are a lotta them around Texas nowadays!

On the Census form I listed:
my name, and F for female and
my husband's name, and M for male, I put a big black X in magic marker on the rest of the questions and wrote (also in big black marker letters) "THAT'S ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW, BIG BROTHER!!!

I will just tell them the number of people that live at the address, and their ages. The rest of the questions violate my Fourth Amendment rights to be secure in my papers ect. BTW, when did Washington start obeying "the law" so that they can start lecturing me on what they appear to no even care about?

I understand that money and other resources are allocated based on census information.

I just discovered that I am a black female head of household with a Hispanic surname, and that eleven people live in my 3-bedroom house.
