Obama on Courage - Hey you, be courageous....[Easy for him to say....] HERE.
Why America Needs Government Health Care Right Now - GO HERE.

There's No 'I' in 'Deem' - Dems pushing ObamaCare look increasingly desperate and creepy.
James Taranto, WSJ.com
Democrats trying to force through ObamaCare over the will of the voters are transforming the House of Representatives into a procedural funhouse hall of mirrors. "House Republicans announced a plan Tuesday that would force Democrats to vote on whether they should have a vote," the Washington Post reports.
Let's try to explain. Late last year, the House and Senate each passed its own version of ObamaCare. Normally, these bills would go to a "conference committee," at which selected congressmen from both chambers would iron out the differences between them, producing a "conference report"--a single bill that would become law after both chambers approve it and the president signs it.
Scott Brown's election made it impossible to enact ObamaCare using the usual procedure. Republican senators now number 41, enough to prevent any conference report from coming to the floor for a vote. For whatever reason--and we'll speculate on this in a moment--President Obama was determined to ram this thing through despite the message the voters of Massachusetts sent in January. So congressional Democrats had to come up with a Plan B.

"I Won"
Sultan Knish.Blogspot.com
In the end everything we ever needed to know about Obama could have been gleaned from his two word reply to a Republican Senator who objected to Obama's disastrous economic stimulus plan. "I Won." And of course Obama won the battle and lost the war. The economic stimulus plan passed but was widely considered unpopular and a failure. It played a big part in the public perception of a wasteful government tossing around money with no real results. But Obama is still wedded to the "win."
When Obama proclaimed "I Won," he did not mean that he represented a democratic public consensus. He meant that he personally won. It was not about what the people wanted. It was about his own victory by any means necessary. Obama has never succeeded because he represented the public consensus. He got ahead by subverting the consensus. By making sure there was no other choice. By stacking the ballot boxes, using his lawyers to bar his opponents from running and smearing them using Axelrod's underhanded media connections so that they would be forced to drop out.
When Obama said, "I Won," he did not mean that he had won the responsibility to direct the public and political consensus within the framework of the United States Constitution. He meant that he had won the power to do as he pleased. The last year has been Obama wielding the power to do as he pleases. And now even as the public is robbing him of his compliant congress, Obama is still determined to wield power as he pleases. And as a result, Barack Hussein Obama's fight is not with the Republican party. It is with the American people. Every victory for Obama is a defeat for the American people. Every victory for the American people is a defeat for Obama.

What President Obama Needs to Know About Being an American
John Lillpop, WorthReading.ning.com
After nearly fourteen months in office, President Obama continues to demonstrate that he does not fully appreciate what it means to be an American.
In fact, his words and deeds reflect a disturbing lack of respect, if not outright contempt, for the basic values, culture, and history that make up this great nation.
The president would do well to educate himself about the following fundamental truths:
* America’s Founding Fathers received divine inspiration in creating the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and Bill of Rights. The notion that the US Constitution is a “living” document is heresy.
* Our values, laws and culture reflect our Judeo-Christian roots. America is a Christian nation.
* America is not perfect. However, apologizing for American policies and leaders while on foreign soil is unacceptable.
* Americans are passionately proud of our cultural heritage, including self-governance under the rule of law, the English language, free market capitalism, and traditional family values.
* We profoundly disagree with the notion that America is no better than any other nation. America is home to the greatest society in human history---that is no coincidence.

Obama 'Stranger in a Strange Land?'
Robin of Berkeley, American Thinker.com
The ultimate Stranger in a Strange Land is, of course, Obama. It's no wonder; given his bizarro family, there was no one with whom to bond. Pitifully, the focal point in Obama's life story -- the brave, oppressed Obama Sr. -- is a chimera, all smoke-and-mirrors.
Obama has surrounded himself with other Strangers. His friends are society's misfits: Van Jones, the self-proclaimed Communist; John Holdren, enthralled with devolution and eugenics. Chicago pals Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn tried to destroy their own nation with terrorism.
Obama has been called a Citizen of the World. While liberals find this appealing, what it actually means is that Obama has come from nowhere and belongs nowhere.
Someone with no country or roots has nothing. Bob Dylan described the predicament and the danger: "When you have nothing, you have nothing to lose."
This is why Obama can casually throw his grandma and pastor under the bus. And Obama can seamlessly enter into a shady land deal with slumlord Tony Rezko, knowing full well that he deprived black people of heat in frigid Chicago winters.
Obama can profess love for his father but allow paternal relatives to live in abject poverty in the projects in Boston or shacks in Kenya. He can cavalierly end the D.C. school voucher program, cheating poor black kids of a decent education.

The Dishonest Tyrant
Sultan Knish.Blogspot.com
Where the honest tyrant relies in the main on force, the dishonest tyrant takes refuge in deceit. He is not averse to force, but he also knows that his real power is over the minds of men. Like the honest tyrant, he wants power. But unlike him, he is much less willing to pay the price and take his chances. Instead he plays divide and conquer, amassing grievances, exploiting fifth columns, and proclaiming at every turn that his way is the only way... because he is the only one who truly cares about the people. The dishonest tyrant does this because his goal is to tie the people's sense of self-preservation to his own welfare by convincing them that they have no alternative but to put their faith in him.
The dishonest tyrant has nothing but a low contempt for the people, and he shows this in his tactics. His benevolent facade is there to cover up the ugliness of his deeds. He never does anything benevolent unless it is staged for the benefit of the crowd. And the uglier his tactics get, the more benevolent scenes he stages to convince the people of his goodness and virtue. To leverage himself one step closer to godhood in their minds.
He expects the people to trust him, but he has no trust in anyone. He will betray and destroy those closest to him, as long it keeps his feet secure on the ladder. And the higher he climbs, the more detached from any ordinary human morals and mores he becomes. Yet this very detachment lends him a mystique, an inhuman air which allows him to set forth his omnipotent image. But what his followers mistake for superiority and enlightenment, is actually the otherness of the sociopath who not view other people as truly human in the same sense as himself.
And so the process continues. The more the dishonest tyrant does "for the people", the more benevolent he seems. Yet in reality each "benevolence" weakens the people and places them further under his power. Each handout from the tyrant not only comes at the expense of the people's wealth, but at the expense of their freedoms and their faith in their own abilities. And thus the ruled becomes the ruler, and the rulers become the ruled.

Obama: Serving Ambitions, Not Citizens
JR Dieckmann, NMJ.us
This recession isn't going to end as long as Obama is in office. The recession is an essential part of the "Progressive" plan to transform the foundation of the country from Capitalism to Socialism.
The unemployment rate of 9.7 percent represents only about half of the workforce that would be working if jobs were available. Jobs in the private (productive) sector continue to decrease, while government and SEIU (Service Employees International Union) taxpayer paid jobs continue to increase.
With less and less revenue from private sector production and more and more government dependence, you can see where this is headed. You can also see why our government keeps borrowing more money to pay for liabilities that aren't being covered by tax revenue.
Eventually, the loan interest rate becomes unaffordable, or credit is denied altogether, and the nation's economy collapses through default. That's when the socialists take over and begin confiscating 50% or more of your income in taxes as a necessary step toward economic recovery.

Obama's Wild Ride
Floyd and Mary Beth Brown, Townhall.com
Mr. Obama's term in office is like Disney's Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. His reckless policies and actions cause destruction to whatever he touches. He needs to be stopped.
Obama and his special-interest allies, especially his lap-dog media, are doing everything they can to keep government growing and eroding our rights. If ordinary people like us don't stand up and continue the rebellion, Washington will soon forget the discontent in the hinterlands.
Recently on MSNBC, Dylan Ratigan assailed Mark Williams of the Tea Party Express. In the midst of Rattigan's angry rant about the supposed anger, racism and anti-Semitism in the Tea Party movement, the MSNBC host revealed who actually has the anger problem. Williams calmly explained that Tea Parties have nothing to do with racism; Rattigan responded by shouting him down and cutting Williams' microphone.

The Conscience of a Florida Conservative - Marco Rubio's rapid rise.
Collin Levy, WSJ.com
'They voted for somebody they'd never heard of in Barack Obama because he ran on the platform of a very devoted centrist."
That's the answer from Marco Rubio when asked about his stunning rise to national prominence as a Republican challenger to a popular Republican officeholder in the key electoral state of Florida. Underlying this strange political season, says Mr. Rubio, is the president's rapid uncloaking in office as anything but the postpartisan that voters thought they had elected.
"Within weeks," says Mr. Rubio, "he began trying to implement what appears to everyone else to be the left-of-center politics of the last 50 years, but in a much more aggressive way, using the excuse of a severe economic downturn as justification for growing and in essence redefining the role of government in America."
The 38-year-old former Florida Speaker of the House is a bundle of energy. He rushes in late from dropping his car off at the shop and is due to pick up his kids from school soon. He talks fast and taps his toe even faster. He's challenging Florida Gov. Charlie Crist in the Republican primary to fill the seat of retiring Sen. Mel Martinez, and his ascent has caught a lot of people by surprise.
