Exclusive: The Epicenter of the World

Print This
  Comments (11)

The epicenter of the world is located in two places - Shanksville, Pennsylvania, and at Ground Zero in Manhattan, New York.

When Soviet Communism collapsed in 1989 many in the West believed that we had entered a post-historical world; they were wrong. There would be no “peace dividend” – instead, we now have a reinvigorated ideological existential enemy.

The events of 9/11 signaled a fundamental shift in how the world functions, or does not function. Our response to 9/11 will determine the future of humanity.

Freedom of religion is guaranteed to us by our Constitution. This also means that we have freedom from religion; we can choose what we want to believe. This is not the case in Islam.

According to Islamic Sharia law, apostates (one who leaves Islam) are to be killed. This is compliant with the commands of both Allah and Mohammed in Koran, Sira, and Hadith, the trilogy doctrine of Islam.

Death for apostasy is sanctioned in Sharia law and is required according to the Koran.

They long that ye should disbelieve even as they disbelieve, that ye may be upon a level (with them). So choose not friends from them till they forsake their homes in the way of Allah; if they turn back (to enmity) then take them and kill them wherever ye find them, and choose no friend nor helper from among them (Koran, 4:89) (Please see Bostom, Death for Apostasy)

Nonie Darwish, noted human rights activist, author, and Executive Director of Former Muslims United, sent a “Freedom Pledge” letter to the leaders of the proposed Ground Zero mosque Feisal Abdul Rauf and his wife Daisy Khan on October 20, 2009. Signatories of the Pledge promise to not harm or harass or commit violent acts against apostates and to respect the Bill of Rights which guarantees Americans freedom of speech and religion. “We reach out to you with a sincere hope that you and your organization will join with us in ensuring peace and justice, safety and freedom for Muslims,” the letter states, “and former Muslims alike.”

The leadership of the Cordoba House mosque, now called Park51, neither acknowledged nor replied to the FMU Pledge. Ignoring the FMU Freedom Pledge when received appears to be the universal response from the “moderate” Muslim community in the US.

As Freedom of Religion (and freedom from religion) is a Constitutional guarantee, Islamic apostasy tradition and laws are both barbaric and unconstitutional. This would suggest that the Ground Zero mosque or any mosque cannot then be built anywhere within the United States as the ideology promulgated in mosques is in opposition to the Constitution.

Article 6 of the US Constitution states:

This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land;

Islam does not subordinate to the law of the United States; nor does its system of law, Sharia.

Mohammed said, ‘I have been directed to fight the kafirs until every one of them admits, “There is only one god and that is Allah.”Whoever says, “There is only one god and that is Allah,” his body and possessions will be protected by me except for violations of Islamic law, in which case his fate is with Allah, to be punished or forgiven as he sees fit. (Hadith Bukhari; 4, 52, 196)

Not only is submission to Sharia law required of all Muslims according to Islamic doctrine and law, it is also required of all non-Muslims.

“Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Apostle have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state of subjection.” (Koran, 9.29)

If the leadership of the Ground Zero mosque refuses to repudiate the Islamic obligation of killing those who leave Islam, the mosque (and its teachings) then is outside the bounds of Constitutional law (in fact, contrary to it) and should be considered ineligible to exist at that or any other place where the US Constitution is in force.

The site of the proposed mosque at Ground Zero is hallowed ground – it is a war memorial. Thousands of American innocents were cruelly murdered there in an ideologically driven atrocity without precedent in American history. The ideology that motivated the atrocities of 9/11 is Islam and its perpetual war against non-Muslims, the Kafir; it is a self-deceiving and self-destructive lie to pretend that this is not so.

We do not live in a post-historical world. The fate of the future of the world depends on how we in the United States respond to 9/11 and subsequent events of Islamic hatred, intolerance and violence against us and other non-believers.  History shows that those societies that do not defend their civilizations are conquered.

Supporters of the Ground Zero edifice and other mosques around the country claim that since only a statistical few Muslims are involved in terrorism that we should therefore encourage the majority non-violent/non-jihadist “moderate” Muslims by supporting their mosque building. The fact that no churches and synagogues can be built in most Muslim countries and that some Muslim countries do not allow Jews to enter their territory is only marginally pertinent here.

What is pertinent is that “radical” and “moderate” Muslims all adhere to the same Koran; all adherents of Islam follow the commands of Allah and the model of Mohammed as written in Koran, Sira, and Hadith.

The most important point about the so-called “moderate” Muslims is that they are mainly silent. If there is a moderating strain in Islam, it is irrelevant because it is silent. The jihadists have the attention of the world because they are the ones committing atrocities while their “moderate” co-religionists assert again and again that “Islam is a religion of peace”.

The term “peace” is defined differently in the West than in Islam.

In the West “peace” means an absence of war; in the Islamic world the entire world is a world of war (dar al-harb) until it is under the dominion of Islam, a new Caliphate and Sharia law. Such a state of affairs would mean “dar aI-Islam” to any Muslim (“moderate” or not), a world of Islam and a world then, in their view, of “peace”. Such a world for the non-believer is too unpleasant to countenance.

Do we then facilitate dar al-Islam by allowing the construction of a massive mosque on the hallowed graves of our fellow innocent Americans murdered by adherents of Islam as they tried to destroy the “Great Satan” and foster Islamic rule in the West and thus bring about their concept of “peace” – the rule of Islam and Sharia law?

Are we unable now to conceive of an enemy driven by ideology though our history is replete with examples? How quickly we forget our history and wipe away its painful lessons of the cruelties committed by ideological fanatics running wars and committing atrocities to bring about (for them) a “pure” world.

What is the doctrine that “moderate” Muslims follow? What do they believe when they say that they are Muslims? What does Koran, Sira, and Hadith tell them that they must do in order to be “Muslim”? The answer is unfortunately, hatred of the kafir and universal, perpetual jihad.

All adherents of Islam, “slaves of Allah”, are required to do jihad, it is an obligation repeated again and again in the Islamic doctrine by both Allah and Mohammed. If adherents are unable to actively participate in jihad, violence and war against the kafirs, they are obligated to support those who do with their money, and their words; to do otherwise is apostasy. As we have seen, the penalty for apostasy in Islam is… harsh.

If the entire Islamic community is obligated to participate in jihad as the highest calling that a Muslim can be involved in according to Koran, how can it make sense in any perspective whatever to allow a temple to this ideology to be built on the site of the Twin Towers – our memorial to our fellow American innocent victims of Islamic cruelty and fanaticism?

Do we forget so quickly our murdered innocents and the ideological motivations that fueled their murderers’ barbarism, hatred, and cruelty?

The epicenter of the world is Ground Zero and Shanksville, Pennsylvania. No monument to the ideology that motivated the murder of our innocent fellow Americans on 9/11 must ever be constructed there. Ground Zero is hallowed ground.

A center dedicated to glorifying and spreading the very same ideology that motivated the heinous murders of 9/11, built on the site of those murders, is an affront to the victims and an indictment of the moral and ethical confusion and weakness of our culture and society.

We abandon our past and overturn our future when we legitimize and honor this cruel ideology whose purpose is our destruction.

If we fail to sustain ourselves and refuse to acknowledge a state of war with an opposing ideology whose purpose, through jihad (cultural, political, economic, and active warfare against us) is our destruction we will lose our civilization. There is nothing at stake in this but everything.

After reading this message I have to wonder where mosques should be built? If the moderate members of the Muslim faith will not come out publically and denounce terrorism in the name of Islam, should we allow mosques to be built in Peoria, Illinois or Pensacola, Florida as well. Desecration of our fundamental liberties should not be any less protected in other communities than they should be on "Ground Zero".

Once again, an excellent piece of work. How is it that I who hold no position of importance can understand what a mosque being build on sacred ground can do to a psyche of a people, never mind the feeling of being victorious the Islamists would have? How is it that people like the Mayor of NYC cannot see past his nose, cannot imagine the future consequences his dhimmitude will have yet to bring upon New Yorkers? Everything one can think he undestands is not necessarily laid out in front of him...

Excellent article which will never see the light of day in the lame stream media. The capitulation of this pro-sharia anti-American administration is evident in all that it does. Those interested in American survival and the removal of Islam from our planet are considered racist, a card which is played at every turn. Can anyone say "Mohammad was a nice guy, let's follow him?" No not at all. We have billions of people following a cult leader that makes Charles Manson look like a saint.

The US's first and only memorial to ongoing wars, the Northwoodmemorial.com, a vietnam-like memorial in Irvine, Ca., is scheduled for completion, Fall 2010. It has space for 8K names, over half used by now, and will be updated yearly.
No need to wait for wars to end, to list the dead, in the age of Perpetual War.

A most excellent article...

Islam's religion always has a political component that must be accommodated. As a contrasting example, there are as many Buddhists who have come to America just as Muslims have. Can you name a single political demand that Buddhists have made in the schools or any other area? Do you know of a case where Buddhists have made demands for coming into schools, businesses, law enforcement of hospitals and making demands that we learn about Buddhism and accommodate Buddhists practices? No, because Buddhism is a religion, not a political ideology.

The religion of Islam demands that we make political accommodations, since Islam is a political ideology as well as a religion.

Can someone please tell me where in the constitution I can find the phrase,"Freedom of Religion?" It must be right there somewhere close to the phrase, "Separation of Church and State."

You might also help me find a scripture in the Bible that allows mankind to have other gods before Almighty God Himself Who gave the Command, "Thou shalt have no other gods before Me."

Oh, is that offensive to you? Well then maybe you'll enjoy having your women wear a burka. And maybe you'll like offering your children as a burnt sacrifice to some of these other gods more than you like keeping Gods commandments.

Muslims should allow us to build churches in Mecca and Medina, after all we would just be building bridges.

An excellent article that WILL see the light of day, as I plan to send it to Mayor Bloomberg who cannot fathom the dangers of a mosque, a replacement theocracy, or an expansionist culture that is already subjugating parts of Europe.
An interesting question is posed by Stuart Pinkert: "...where mosques should be built?" Perhaps not in a democracy as long as Islamic countries have no equality of other religions on their land. We must not be tolerant of their intolerance. And,if their beliefs in sharia prohibits their obedience to our constitution, then they do not belong in America. When cultures are so disparate, and pose a threat to the host culture, it is time for them to return to Islamic soil.

One thing we must all keep in mind, that is: there is no such thing as a moderate Muslim. Muslim's will not denounce the violence and the barbaric nature of their faith, or their way of life. Every Qur'an believing Muslim, is a terrorist in waiting, make no mistake about that.

I don't want a mosque, a church, a temple, a synagogue , or any kind of religious symbol at the site of the 911 tragedy. There are alternatives. I want peace, enlightenment, LOVE, and healing at ground zero.
At the site of 911 I want a monument with the words and music of this song.

"Heal the World":
In this place you'll feel
There's no hurt or sorrow.
There are ways to get there
If you care enough for the living
Make a little space, make a better place.

Chorus:
Heal the world
Make it a better place
For you and for me and the entire human race
There are people dying
If you care enough for the living
Make a better place for
You and for me.

Michael Jackson sings it better than I can write it.

Thank you, Michael Jackson.
