There is every reason to suspect that we will endure suicide missions by Islamist sleeper cells. They are already in place. They are waiting for the right time. I know this from experience.
 
I have worked over 15 years as a U.S. Federal Agent, a U.S. State Department Arabic linguist, and the first civilian Federal Agent deployed into Iraq at the start of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003.  Since returning from Iraq I have been involved in terrorism analysis, specifically the mindset of terrorists. During my extensive research on sleeper cells I have talked with hundreds of people from the Middle East from all walks of life, and have talked with Iraqi Government officials, Iraqi military and Iraqi police officers.  In addition I have interviewed numerous counter-terrorism specialists in the U.S. and abroad.  In 2006 I trained over 4000 U.S. Law Enforcement officers in Basic Investigative Arabic and counter-terrorism. The conclusions of my research lead to the title of this article.
 
Before I departed for the Middle East in 2003 I had been assigned to Kirtland AFB, NM.  Kirtland has some of the best scientists in the world working on U.S. Government projects.  I had been working closely with these scientists who specialized in nuclear energy, directed energy, laser technology, bio-weapons and more.  I fully understand the impact if suicide bombers begin progressing from conventional explosives to unconventional methods.
 
The Middle East
 
In Jan 2003, I was assigned to Arar Air Base Saudi Arabia.  Arar is located near the border of Iraq. My mission was to interact with Saudi military officials in order to determine the support we could expect from the Saudi government, to determine if Iraqis were monitoring the activities of the U.S. forces at Arar, and to infiltrate the encampments of the Bedouin community (Saudis and Iraqis living in the desert of Arar). This involved leaving the relatively safe confines of Arar Air Base and driving to the Bedouin camps. 
 
It was most important the Saudis did not know we were leaving the compound because they had forbidden us to do so.  Four U.S. special Agents would use our ATV's and/or four wheel drive vehicles to conduct these missions. The Saudi Government had active spies collecting information pertaining to our troop strength, our weapons, and any other intelligence they could obtain. The Saudis were providing the intelligence to the Saudi Government, and we were very confident it was also being passed to Iraqi intelligence. 
 
During January 2003 and Feb 2003, Saudi Intelligence officers would boast that the American military was overreacting about Saddam Hussein's weapons of mass destruction.  Their bravery changed as we approached the invasion of Iraq in Mar 2003.  The high-ranking Saudi officers were scrambling to obtain gas masks and other protective equipment.  They knew their equipment was substandard and they wanted U.S.-made protective equipment.  We gave them some of ours.  The Saudi Intelligence officers were visibly frightened about a potential chemical, biological, or nuclear attack and expressed their fears.
 
While in Iraq we determined the following:
 
1. Russian activity in Iraq had been rampant several months prior to the war and up until the day before the invasion.
 
2. Iranians were infiltrating southern Iraq by the thousands and were preparing to assist insurgents in removing U.S. forces from Iraq.
 
3. We found numerous pieces of evidence indicating WMD were in Iraq before the war began and some were still in Iraq.
 
4. I and other agents were informed by Iraqis that a civil war would erupt and violence against U.S. forces would increase due to the Iranian and Russian influence.
 
All of this information was provided through intelligence channels, but was ignored. Today we are seeing the results of our intelligence being ignored in 2003.
 
Vulnerability at home

Upon returning from Iraq I left Federal Service to pursue a career educating U.S. law enforcement in the U.S.  I wrote a book titled "Arabic for law enforcement and military". During my lectures to local, county, and state law enforcement officers it was revealed the true first line defenders in the U.S. are not trained nor prepared to combat terrorism in the U.S. (through no fault of their own).  The local law enforcement agencies were not receiving adequate funds or assistance from the Federal Government to fight terrorism.  The majority advised they were supposed to be the first line defenders, but in actuality they did not even know what Al-Qaeda meant, and/or could not point out Iraq or Iran on a map. They had no Arabic language training.
 
I began conducting research and talking with experts from various fields and determined three significant facts that I corroborated by further research:
 
1. The terrorists groups such as Hezbollah, Hamas, and Al-Qaeda each had different leaders and to some degree operated in different ways, but they each had the same two goals (destroy Israel and destroy America and any country that supported either).
 
2.  Our nuclear research centers were very vulnerable to an attack and the potential for a suicide bomber using a dirty radiological bomb from these facilities was and is a high probability. Note: Vic Walter and Brian Ross of ABC News did an excellent report on the lack of security at these facilities. I received an enormous amount of information from individuals associated with Russian nuclear programs that there is nuclear material being sold on the black market and nuclear material is in the hands of Islamic Extremists. 
 
3. Terrorist sleeper cells are located primarily in Virginia, New York, North Carolina, Michigan, Florida, California, and Canada. The "sleepers" are prepared to conduct terrorist attacks within the U.S., and nuclear material is available to them. "Prepared" in this instance indicates they have the necessary tools to carry out their attacks and are prepared to die.
 
4. Non profit organizations such as CAIR, ISNA, MANA, MSA, and several other Islamic based groups are in actuality simply fronts for Al Qaeda and Hamas. The leadership within these groups receives funds and training from the Saudi government. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) allows these groups to operate freely throughout the U.S. and at American’s taxpayer’s expense. Essentially the IRS grants the groups immunity and the authority to train, organize, and prepare for attacks against our country. Why? Because CAIR and other such groups have a confidential informant network much better than even our FBI. CAIR uses contractors such as Corey Saylor (Simple Resolve Company) to place interns into our elected official’s offices, and into organizations such as the IRS.
 
Terrorist operations are active in the U.S. and are being operated/financed by Al Qaeda throughout the U.S.
 
 U.S. citizens need to understand there are people trained and prepared to carry our suicide missions in the U.S. and nothing are off limits.  Churches, malls, and even the schools our children attend are not off limits to suicide bombers. It is only a relatively short time before the U.S. will begin seeing suicide terrorist missions.
 
I will continue to research terrorism related issues in the U.S. and Canada and will bring forward the results. Nuclear reactors are located on a large number of major university campuses in the U.S. There locations are not classified and are described on the internet.
 
Children are the ones who suffer in wartime and I want to prevent any child from ever having to experience a terrorist attack.

It seems funny that, when the US' own patriot groups get busted for arms caches that these cells are allowed to operate with impunity. Why aren't the FBI agents swooping down on them?

I can not understand that this topic is so taboo, that our politicians responsible for the security are not out giving national sppeches, and at least giving a hint of concern to us.
Are our leaders so deeply asleep, only to react after carnage rather than preventing the carnage?

My children have been out of college for nearly ten years. One attended Texas Tech in Lubbock, TX and the other attended New Mexico State in Las Cruces, NM. I told both to be fully aware of their surroundings on campus because the presence of foreign populations is common and acceptable on our college campuses which makes it easy for terrorists to infiltrate the population without suspicion. Terrorist organizations surely would want to cripple a nation by removing the youngest and brightest of a society..the future leaders. I, also, told my son not to go to Juarez which is a popular place for college students in southern New Mexico. At that time there were reports of many missing young women and a report of a murdered plastic surgeon in Juarez. The United States has the best technology and the best intelligence in the history of the world yet we allowed the events of 9-11 and continue to allow the illegal activities on our southern border with Mexico. The question we all must ask is......WHY?
We, as citizens of the United States, must step up and accept our RESPONSIBILITIES of holding elected officials accountable for fiscal and security duties. Thank you for this informative and credible article.

As an Air Force law Enforcement Veteran I have seen our Country go from our home grown terrorist's that were mild but still dangerous to the ideological based all or nothing, kill everyone, get attention in any way possible mentality of the Muslims. America has become so PC that for her own detriment will allow herself to be destroyed from within by 3rd world fanatics. Our Politicians want to appear as not to offend the very snake that is about to devour them. Too bad they won't pull their proverbial heads out of the sand, they might just see how disturbed this generation has become and how dangerous their mindset is. These games get people killed by the masses. If America doesn't wake up before it is too late, then we will be destroyed before we can do anything about it.These are truly the last days. "Maranatha"

Mercenaries supplanting American soldiers.
There were 150,000 mercenaries (military contractors) in Iraq.
That's the same size, roughly, and the maximum number of U.S. soldiers ever in Iraq.

I really do not understand why Islamberg (Hancock, NY) and other Islamic compounds are allowed to exist.

It is routine to hear gun shots from within these compounds. Thanks to one group, undercover videos exist of what goes on within these compounds. They are used to train radical Muslims and it is being done in this country.

I cannot help but think that in some sense, the man in the Oval Office has insisted that these groups be left alone. Why else would CAIR, ACORN and others like them continue to enjoy non-profit status?

Why are our laws regarding treason not being enforced? I believe and many other Americans are that we are betrayed by our political and business leaders. The betrayers have placed tier people in high ranking positions in every area of political, military, intelligence, business and religious leadership. Local law enforcement as been bought with government grants and brain washing. The humans who think they are leading the human race into a more enlightened era are their selves being misled, they are betraying the whole of humanity and many in the intelligence field knows this, for what price does a person SELL their soul. There is a lot that we don't understand yet and much of what we think we know is wrong.

While there might have been WMD's... so far NONE have been found or proved to exist... next thing you will put out a post that chicken little said the sky is falling in and your readers will actualy believe it.

Plus, remember, all muslims organizations in US have close ties to global terrorist organizations, like Hamas, Hezbullah, Brotherhood. I can send you more information on this issue.

After reading all the comments, it confirms what I had suspected for some time. There are people in power who want America to fall. When you remove the Middle-Class of any society, the country falls. When we lost our jobs to foreign lands, we lost our country. The people have been weakened and have little will to fight...fight for what...less jobs, more taxes. A perfect breeding ground for extremists. Very, very sad, indeed. Look up and call on God to save His people and this great country!

What's bad is there's still people that will thumb their noses at the facts such as this.They want to believe we live in a utopia and there are no such things as radial Muslims with WMD's. How can anyone be so ignorant?The facts are when they do hit us the ignorant are going to be begging for help from the very people they made fun of for taking heed of information like this.

My fear is mainly for my son and my grandchidren as I will soon be 61. Muslims are having children at a much higher rate than all other population groups in the US. All they have to do is wait a few decades and they will take complete control of the govt and institute an Islamic state. I don't know how they can be stopped short of all out civil war. They use our freedom against us until they can take it from us. I further think that all Muslims are part of the long term plan, but, of course, they would never admit it. As you know, the koran says its ok to lie to infidels so how can you believe a word they say. God help this great country. I pray every day for some sort of solution to this problem.

I would think that they would've made their move during the worst financial crisis since the great depression. But nothing [crickets chirping] ...

For those who have been paying attention to the real news, this article is clearly setting the stage for a false-flag terror attack. Why? Because there is no terrorism. When the government cries terrorism, it wants something for its trouble. In fact, given the paucity of such events, it's almost impossible to conceive of terrorism in America as being anything but a state-sponsored phenomenon. Find the ulterior motive and the so-called terrorists quickly vanishes. Why 9/11? To acquire the rich oil and natural gas resources in Iraq and western Asia. Why the Christmas crotch-bomber? To justify future emplacement of TSA scanners and gropers at our nation's airports. The most difficult problem the government seems to have is in educating the people to accept the fiction that dark forces lie in wait ready to strike them at any moment. Well, why aren't they striking; targets of opportunity certainly exist? Could it just be that the terrorists have been misidentified? But someone apparently favors these attacks. Or why the perpetual drum roll of fear?

Ann those pulling the strings are afraid, that unlike how much of the rest of the world does react, such incidents taking place within the US would bring great retribution. This was proved when after 9/11 the American people rallied so strongly around its leaders and ended up invading Iraq. Whether or not you individually were for or against that war, enough US citizens were crying for retribution that it did take place. The leaders in Iran, who control those cells, will not turn them loose until either (1) Israel goes to war against Iran, or (2) they themselves think they are ready to take on the US in the Mid-East. Essentially, regardless of who “starts” it, when the US becomes involved in war with Iran, the cells will be cut loose. Do you have any idea how many tons of explosives are stolen across the US every year? Or how vulnerable we in the US are to chemical or biological attacks? As of the end of 2009 the US government was aware of 30 training camps located across the US with connections to Hezbollah. How many people have gone through those camps since they were founded? How many others are we not even aware of?

Ann, the whole reason you even ask your question is a fault of Western civilization that only thinks in the now. Do you know how many years of planning went into the first bombing of the World Trade Center? 9 years. So for them to wait and plan and prepare for mass attacks, widespread across the country, for them to wait a decade or two or three is not an issue. The Western mind thinks and sees everything in the framework of timetables. The Mid-Eastern mind thinks “are we ready” and time is rarely a factor.

Sorry Marilyn, that is a half-truth. Yes for awhile we might have less of a problem but that denies that their aim is a world-wide Caliphate and domination of the world. That has allways been the end game for Islam and now, in our time, they think they have the numbers to accomplish that goal - and perhaps they do. I can send you to plenty of documentation, in their own publications and words, that plainly state that goal and also states how they plan to achieve that goal.

I hope that this information is followed up on with updates to follow. I have been researching Jihadist Camps in America. They do exist. The danger is out there waiting to happen. Our children do not need to go thru this, this is AMERICA!
